3 STRICTLY ENFORCED. Limited metered parking is available along College Ave. Evening parking in all permit lots with the exception of Orange, Crimson, and Gray is free and open to the general public. Visitor, loading dock, commercial, truck and bus day permits are available through the WSUPA staff (in advance). MANAGEMENT Production Room: Fax machine and copier available in General Studies Office on 2nd floor, Rm 201. Green Room: Room 251, 18 x 50 located a few steps from the back wall of the mainstage and across a hallway from the dressing rooms; has small kitchenette, refrigerator, and microwaves. Stage Manager s Console: there are two: primary SM station located to the rear and above the auditorium in the Light Booth, Rm 370, single channel Clear-Com communication system (main station), stage audio monitor, PA microphone; secondary SM station located SL wing, controls for motorized winches (electrics), house light and work light panel, Clear-Com system jack, power amp for stage monitor, backstage intercom station. Rehearsal Rooms: Room 145, 27 x 37, down one flight from lobby, but not well sound-isolated from the stage, and Room 250, Wadleigh Theatre (black box), 32 x 32 playing area (subject to availability). Crews: WSU student and non-student technical staff on timeslip, and volunteers (many who are members of STAGE, the undergraduate theatre association). Handicapped Access: use elevator from upper level of Daggy parking structure (ramp for wheelchair) to 2 nd floor, two right turns, one left will take you across lobby, then first theatre entrance to five (5) wheelchair locations House Left. Policies: normal curtain is 7:30pm, WSU buildings are smoke-free environments including 25 from all entrances, use of cell phones and texting devices is prohibited during shows, use of flash photography and all manner of videotaping is also prohibited in the theatre, WSU Wireless network is available with a secured access in the lobby, dressing rooms and greenroom, concessions and merchandise sales by arrangement, alcohol sales are contracted out (by permit/license only). LOAD-IN AREA Dimensions: Dock is 2-6 high by 18-6 wide, one truck accommodated at a time. Loading door is 10 wide x 11 high. Scenery makes a 90 degree turn 11 past loading door into freight elevator which is 9-11 wide x 17 long x 11-6 high. Must go up one flight and load in through scene shop to get to the mainstage loading door (all doors en route are 10 w x 11 h; one sprinkler pipe between doors is only 10-8 high). Map: available online CARPENTRY Seating: with orchestra pit or thrust stage config: 342 seats, 5 wheelchair accessible; without orchestra pit: 398 seats, 5 wheelchair accessible. Stage Dimensions: Proscenium: 60 wide x 24 high fixed opening; 40 w x 20 h normal opening w/ torms and teaser, stage is 42 deep from PL, apron below PL is 3 at center and flares L&R; apron platform is a 7-9 deep triangle; orchestra elevator is 20 deep at CL and 46-6 wide at its 3

4 widest point (when used at permanent stage height as a thrust stage). Wing space: SR has 17-6 clear for full stage depth with one large HVAC duct DS on the offstage wall; SL has only 7-6 clear from lineset extensions to counterweight rigging; there is a 12 x 6 storage room in the USL corner of the stage. Grid Height: 64 from deck; effective flying height is 58-6 Orchestra pit: elevator platform is 20 deep at CL x 46-6 wide at widest point; height fully adjustable from stage level to (trap room floor); there is a musicians entrance door at from the trap room. Hydraulic lift has a portable controller with a single plug-in floor pocket on the pit s top surface. Stage Height: with 3 rows of seats on orchestra pit (Rows A-C), stage is 2-9 above Row A. Stage Floor: tongue & groove yellow pine deck, painted matte black, twenty (20) 4 x 8 traps are available (see Floor Plan for layout); threaded inserts (must be plugged at strike), drywall screws, ¼ lags, and nails are allowed. House Draperies (Goods): House Curtain: Crimson velour, bi-panel, with fullness on Line 1; as show curtain it operates via traveler track and manual handline with floor pulley on SL proscenium. Legs: 6, black velour, 28 high x 15 wide, flat; 3, black velour, 15 H x 8 W, flat Borders: 3, black velour, 8 high x 63 wide, flat Full Stage: 2, black velour, 28 high x 33 wide, flat, used together in traveler on Line 25.
