2 LOCATION, DIRECTIONS and ADDRESS The John Labatt Centre is located at 99 Dundas Street in London Ontario. London is approximately halfway between Detroit(2.5hrs) and Toronto(2hrs). The John Labatt Centre is easily accessible from Highway 401 or 402. Directions from Toronto: Highway 401 West to London Take exit 186-B (Wellington Road North) to downtown London (approximately 15 minutes) Stay on Wellington Road North until after railroad underpass 4 th set of lights turn left onto Queens Avenue At next 4 th set of lights turn left onto Ridout Street Go through Next set of lights (Dundas Street) Service entrance will be on your left side. 4 PARKING While the John Labatt Centre does not have a dedicated parking facility, there are over 8000 parking spaces within walking distance of the building. The map below identifies some of the parking spaces that are located around the John Labatt Centre. 5 LOADING DOCK and PRODUCTION VEHICLE PARKING The John Labatt Centre loading dock is located at the southwest corner of the centre. The distance from the dock to the centre of the venue floor is approximately 175' while the distance from the dock to the RBC Theatre is 220. There are two loading docks with load levelers and dock seals, there is also one drive-in door that provides access to the arena floor. There is adequate parking for fifteen buses or trucks outside the load dock area. Additional parking is available a short distance from the building if needed for storage of extra trailers. Shore power for buses is also available. FORKLIFTS The John Labatt Centre has two propane fueled forklifts. One forklift has a lifting capacity of 6000 lbs, while the other forklift has a 5000 lbs capacity. Both of the lifts have a lift height of 17' and fork length of 4' (6' with extensions).

6 CATERING The John Labatt Centre can provide shows with catering in house via Ovations Food Services. Contact the Event Coordinator at (519) or Dave White at (519) for further information. DRESSING ROOMS There are a total of four dressing rooms available for show use. There are two large dressing rooms one 757 sq.ft and the other 645 sq.ft, the two smaller dressing rooms are 490 sq. ft. each. All of the dressing rooms are located behind the stage and have shower and restroom facilities. Each room is equipped with one phone line as well as power. The John Labatt Centre can add furniture to the dressing rooms as requested by shows, some requests may require outside rentals at the shows expense. PRODUCTION OFFICE A production office can be set up in the Green Room located in the southwest corner of the venue at event level. The room is equipped with 12 phone lines and 4 data lines, activation of each line is a show expense at a rate of $75 per line. When the Green Room is used for other purposes, 2 smaller rooms are available to serve as production offices. The other rooms are equipped with 3 and 2 phone lines respectively.

7 EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT Fire sprinklers, smoke sensors, and fire extinguishers are located throughout the John Labatt Centre. The facility is equipped with an emergency generator that can provide limited building power in case of power failure. POWER Show power is located at the northwest corner of the building on the event level. All show power panels have set screw connections to the electrical bus bar. The John Labatt Centre house sound system provides a full range of high power sound to all seating and concourse levels in the facility. The system is made up of custom full range, distributed speakers suspended from the arena ceiling. Other equipment includes a dual cassette deck, single compact disc player, mixing board, microphone and wireless microphone. The John Labatt Centre is also equipped with an in-house listening device system for the hearing impaired. Show sound can be fed into the dressing room area when needed. Both the house and sport lighting are controlled via computer. The house lighting is fully dimmable while the sport lighting consists of watt metal halide light fixtures. Maximum lighting for events is 100 vertical foot-candles and 220 horizontal footcandles. SHOW COMMUNICATION The John Labatt Centre has an in-house ClearCom headset communication system with 15 stations that include the Sound Control Room, camera positions and spotlights among other areas. PYROTECHNICS A City of London pyrotechnics permit is required for any pyrotechnics used in the building or anywhere on the premises. A designated room will be assigned for storage of all pyrotechnics equipment and any additional fire extinguishers required can be supplied at the shows expense. 8 FLOOR In a hockey configuration, the arena floor is 85' x 200' (NHL size) with full ice making capabilities, the area of the floor is approximately 17,000 square feet. The total surface area of the centre floor (hockey surface as well as the area behind the dasher boards) with retractable seating pushed in is 19, 000 square feet. The ice surface can be covered with a portable 1 (EventDek) when the ice surface is not required. In the Theatre set up ample floor storage is available behind the stage. The floor area used in the Theatre set up is from the east end blue line to the east end dasher boards. SPOTLIGHTS The John Labatt Centre has six Xenon spotlights, four spot lights are available in the theatre set up. All spotlight platforms are easily accessed via the catwalk. Additional spotlights can be rented at the show's request and expense.

9 RIGGING Distance from centre floor to the roof is 70' while distance from floor to the low steel is 58'. Total rigging weight for a west end and center stage configuration is 95,000 Ibs, rigging weight for the theatre setting is 65,000 lbs. All the structural steel is divided into 10 x 10 quadrants to reduce the amount of bridling. All rigging done in the theatre set up must be done from the main rigging beams, the theatre grid support channels are not rated for rigging purposes. All rigging plans, including the weight of each point, must be submitted to and approved by the arena management prior to Load In. FOH POSITION The FOH/mix position in the Theatre set up is located 47 from the DSE of the stage. The mix position is at floor level and is 15 wide X 12 deep. Risers can be made available if required. An area for an orchestra can also be made available off of the DSE but should not exceed 6 in depth.

11 THEATRICAL RIGGING SYSTEM The Theatrical Rigging System at the John Labatt Centre is a single purchase system containing 30 line sets. There are 3 groups/arbors of 10 lines each at 8 1/2 centers. The distance between the first group/arbor and second group/arbor is 2 while the distance between the second group/arbor and the third group/arbor is 3. All pipes/batons are loaded/rigged prior to the shows Load In according to the shows line set schedule. Line set schedules are to be forwarded to the Event Coordinator in advance of all shows for review so requirements can be met and adjusted as needed. The pipes/batons are 60 in length and are loaded one at a time. A caps wench/bull wench is used to pull the lines and load counter weights, the maximum weight per line is 1000lbs. The average out trim of the batons based on a 4 high stage has been 46.

13 THEATRICAL RIGGING SYSTEM(cont.) Proscenium size can be adjusted to meet most show requirements. As with the line set scheduled the proscenium is set prior to the shows Load In, both the proscenium and valence require the use of the first to line sets. All side masking in the Theatre set up is provided by the John Labatt Centre, in addition to the side masking there are 3 sets of legs and borders. STAGE The John Labatt Centre stage is made by Stage Right. Each stage deck is 4 X 8, stage height can range from 4 to 6. Stages in the Theatre set up are typically 60 wide X 40 deep and 4 high, additional decking can be added to stage right (8 ) and stage left (4 ), however the arbors and hockey dashers limit stages any wider than this. Generally the additional 4 and 8 are added following FOH Load In. Decking can and has be added on the USE to accommodate shows requiring larger stages. The John Labatt Centre has enough stage material to make a stage 60 wide X 80 deep. Stage railing, risers/z legs(1 and 2 ) and stairs are also available.
