7 A very diverse portfolio of projects makes it difficult to draw 'one size fits all' conclusions E-bikes, e-cargo bikes, e-scooters, e-cars and e-vans; Car-sharing, training & awareness raising on e-bikes, e- cargo bikes in urban logistics, fleet assessment, e-cars in urban mobility; Private bike users, logistic service providers, fleet owners, municipalities & local authorities, private companies, citizens; Urban and rural environments;

8 Car-sharing as a way to introduce electric mobility some lessons from ebridge Car sharing market (ebridge) EV's not USP for car sharing customers additional willingness to pay for e-car sharing compared to conventional services is rather low, and with that a cost-effective operation of e-cs; competition with free floating systems on car sharing market >< station based systems that provide EV's; User acceptance (ebridge) E car sharing is a great tool to increase user acceptance of EV's; Training needed to alleviate concerns on handling, charging, EV autonomy; trainings for business and private users designed accordingly to the needs and expectations of the concrete group use and expansion will have to take place within specific contexts (i.e. short range) and ownership arrangements (i.e. shared ownership);

9 Small organizations participation of bigger players guarantee for strong consortium and knowledge transfer; flexibility of smaller organizations is a strength that should not be underestimated; smaller organizations can really make a difference when it comes to innovation and new approaches; not only as service buyers, but also as mobility service provider; The role of authorities "as a developing technology, EVs have a great potential and certain constraints that only a long-term vision towards integrated urban development and global sustainability can cope with";

10 Local authorities and businesses as key drivers for e-mobility (EMOBILITY WORKS) Embedding of electric mobility in overall mobility strategy as a way forward; Big interest in the project: 34 municipalities in 9 MS; Set up of local e-mobility networks and drafting e- mobility action plans goes raises a lot of interest; Implementation of action plans is challenging (Interim Report); Awareness raising and knowledge sharing activities are successful and show that there is a big interest in the topic at local level;

11 Electric bikes & scooters for goods delivery and passenger transport (PRO-E-BIKE) Potential for a shift differs greatly between cities and even between local branches from big companies; Local cycling culture plays an important role; Crucial are training of employees (increase of range, positive attitude) and management attitude towards modal shift to e-bikes and e-scooters; Initially more interest for e-scooters than e-bicycles. Testing proved that the difference in price cannot be justified with difference in performance. E-bike introduction makes logistical chain more complex; Public sector has exemplary role;
