For instance for cleaning purposes and pasteurisation. More than ten big F&B companies joined RE100, a business driven initiative to switch to 100% renewable energy in the foreseeable future. 5 WE INNOVATE We developed the PowerCollector: a unique and patented technology with the highest energy yield ever measured. Besides electricity the PowerCollector delivers a lot of heat - up to 70 C. The Solarus PowerCollector is a concentrating, hybrid solar photovoltaic and solar thermal panel. Concentrating means that it has a curved mirror to collect and reflect more sunlight throughout the day. Hybrid means that it combines solar photovoltaic (PV) generation of electricity with solar thermal (T) generation heat. Solarus offers, as the only company in the world, both Active Cell Cooling and Maximum Reflector Collector Technologies.
