If you treat it with respect it will reward you with many years of trouble free service. Operating voltage is 4.4v to 6.3 v. Switch points are.45 ms and.55 ms on each channel. There are no user serviceable components. See Page # 2 & 3 for Live Steam usages. Connecting to servos. Pages 4, 5, 6 & 7 have wiring information for a number of different ESC applications with battery R/C locos. RCS welcomes ideas for other applications. See page # 8 for more details.

YELLOW & WHITE WIRES GO TO FL & RL ON THE LED s must have a suitable dropping Rear LED resistor fitted in either the + (positive) or - (negative) circuit. Y R B HOW TO USE THE # MRW-SSLS TO CONTROL A # RELAY-v3 TO REVERSE BATTERY VOLTAGE FOR EASY INSTALLATION OF ON-BOARD USAT LOCO WIRING. Black Red Remove both track pick up connectors from the trucks. Disconnect one of them and discard. Insert the Red/Black wires of other one into the common terminals of the # MRW-RDS. 8 The # MRW-SSLS has been designed to provide constant brightness directional lighting for any R/C system using a Centre OFF ESC controlled by any Rx s that do not have that feature. It is connected in-line with the Direction and Speed control channel of the RX you are using. Or, use the direction set servo of live steam locos. The # MRW-SSLS reads the servo signal and automatically follows direction change. Unlike other R/C switches the # MRW-SSLS always has the selected direction light ON BEFORE the loco starts moving. If using other brands of Rx s please make sure that the channel you are using has the end point/travel adjustments set to 00% throw. Otherwise, you may find that one side will not switch on and off. The pcb is provided with a 5 volt supply from the ESC. You can use this to power LED s, incandescent bulbs and relays. OR You can use any other battery voltage provided the Rx is powered by the loco traction batteries and the ground is common. Light bulbs & Relays must then match the traction battery voltage.
