4 Certifications Quality and accurate compliance with reference standards are two attributes on which Enolgas Bonomi has always invested: in 1991 the company achieved ISO 9001 certification for design, production and customer service. An excellent result for that period, which Enolgas Bonomi wants to maintain over time, through close collaboration with the departments of university research and upgrading activity for its products under the specifications and standards of the different markets. The production is certified by external bodies and provides qualitative and functional testing to 0% of finished products. In addition, some product lines are also subject to voluntary certification of products, with direct withdrawal by third party, in the production departments during machining, assembly and testing, in order to offer its customers the best guarantees in terms of quality and safety. ACTUATOR The motorized electric actuator is composed of a reversible synchronous motor functioning with a single phase ac voltage and equipped with a permanent bidirectional magnet and two coils. The clockwise or counter-clockwise direction is ensured by a capacitor producing an electrical 90 dephasing between the two coils. The available power supply voltages are 24V, 1V and 230V Hz. The speed of an actuator powered at 60Hz is 20% higher than the speed of an actuator powered at 50Hz. GEARBOX The gearbox has been designed to ensure an optimum lifecycle on the basis of the maximum torque which can be applied to the output shaft. All wheels are made of metal, bronze bearings are sintered and the output shaft is carbonitrided in order to guarantee a long lifecycle. The gearbox is supplied with a life-time grease coating. All fixing screws are in stainless steel. ELECTRONICS Positioning is ensured by an electronic board equipped with two limit switches and a capacitor. The connection is made by means of a 6-terminal connector and a cable gland ensuring the IP protection level. The input signal is SPST with two wires, ON-OFF with internal relay. The use of this hydraulic device is necessary if the maximum possible pressure at any point in the water distribution system can reach or exceed the relative maximum allowable working pressure, or if connectable to apparatus and equipment that function exclusively at lower levels of pressure. The PISTONtype pressure reducing valve is designed for use in either internal or external water distribution systems, where the water main pressure values do not surpass 25 bar. The thermoplastic material of the internal piston structure guarantees rigidity, strenght and an enhanced regulation precision thanks to the compensated seat. The O-rings, in antistick-slip Perox EPDM elastomer with a low coefficient of friction, are durable and require only limited maintenance interventions. The internal finish of the body and the broader dimensions of the passage allow an elevated flow even with a minimal water draw. The PISTON-type pressure reducing valve (PN 25) is used in air conditioning plants, sanitary installations for water supply, irrigation systems, compressed air (not oil mist) distribution systems, fire suppression piping (it should be borne in mind that local government standards for fire protection must always be observed), and sanitary installations for water supply in buildings (according to EN and EN 805). This product adheres to the standards set forth by the European health authorities for the transport of alimentary fluid and potable water. This valve has a paramount importance in climatisation networks and systems, evacuating and discharging trapped air in water pipes for services under pressure. Moreover, as thoroughly documented in European Standard EN 14868, the presence of oxygen in heating systems can provoke anodic corrosion, noise, air pockets, obstructions, etc., that may significantly compromise the performance and integrity of the systems. Further, its reduced space requirements make this valve ideal for use inside modern heat generators, where air must be evacuated from the circulation pumps in order to prevent unwanted cavitation phenomena. 14
