We have our regular events coming up such as our pizza party, club dinner, ice breaker brunch run, our great all Ford car show and many more. A lot of you have heard about Scott Moen s remarkable collection of Mustang and Ford memorabilia. You can see and read about it on the Ford Performance web site. ( When you get to the site, search for Scott Moen. You will find the article with pictures that John Clor wrote. Great article! We need a club newsletter editor. This is a fairly easy job if you have the time. There are a ton of legacy files to build from. Please give this some thought to be part of our clubs leaders. Contact Tom or I if you have any questions. One last reminder to get your dues in for Please remember to fill out the form and return it to Jack. It s a great club with loads of Mustang fun and we would like to see you not miss a minute of all our activities! Check out the past newsletters from the club s early years we have put up on our web site. It s fun to look back at the past and see what activities the club had. Treasure s report - Given by Jack Winter was approved as read. Secretary s report - Given by Karen Furst was approved as read Old Business: 2018 Club Dues is due before January 31st. Share these sites with potential new club member or Ford product enthusiast. Car Show Planning Meeting was held on December 3. It was decided that the Ford Torino will be the featured car. Don Schultz, Car Show Chairman has sent up a Sign Up Genius for people to sign up online to work the show. Needed Club Newsletter Editor and Secretary - the club is looking for volunteer to fill these 2 positions New Business: Car Shows and Car News - Glenn and Karen took their 67 Mustang to the Ray Evernham s Americarna Live car show in Davidson, NC on Nov. 25th. Huge car show to support IGNITE a unique peer-to-peer community center in Davidson for young adults with high-functioning autism or Asperger s Syndrome. Dan Gurney race car driver passed away at age Ford Mustang Bullitt VIN #001 sold for $300,000 at Barrett Jackson Scottsdale Auction this January. WEM Family news, please keep these members and their families in your thoughts and prayers. Sal and Pat Lorino while they are adjusting to Pat s move to St. Mary s Manor. Dick Strack pass away on January 27th. day, Feb. 18th - Pizza Party will be held at Trattoria di Carlo & Pizzeria. RSVP to Sue Miller before February 14th. March 18th - WEM thly Meeting- at the WaterStone Bank Car Show solicitation letters were available at the meeting. Please hand these to anyone you solicit for car show raffle items. Businesses need these for their donation records and as proof you are soliciting on behalf of the club. Contact Don Schultz at Don@DJSchultz.net or if you need more letters. Car Show Communications have seen sent out and posted to 20 plus websites, calendars and publications. More publications and web sites will be contacted as the car show draws nearer. Scott is a WEM member. There is are pictures and an article about Scott and his huge Ford/Mustang memorabilia collection. Original Bullitt Mustang has been found and was on display in Detroit. There is a great article on the car in the latest Hagerty Magazine. At this point no one is making an estimate as to the cars value; but the owner has no intention of selling it Mustang II Reunion Nationals were brought up. It was suggested that WEM might look into hosting it. No Ford Mustang Plant tours in June a club member reported he was told the plant is closed for tour in June. February 25th - Model A Swap Meet - 8am - 2pm, Washington County Fairgrounds. February 23rd-25th World of Wheels at State Fair Park. February 24th - March 4th Greater Milwaukee Auto Show in the Milwaukee Center. Meeting adjourned at 7:32pm followed by nearly half of us heading to Oscars for social time, custard, and food.

Activities include monthly meetings, an annual car show, over-the-road trips, a monthly newsletter, and fun times for all ages. We encourage family participation! The last 2 1/2 years have been extremely difficult and has virtually claimed me as its second victim.

Pat will be admitted to St Mary s Manor in South Milwaukee for full time care. It is a small facility with only 17 beds.

4 To all my "Wisconsin Early Mustangers" friends! Today January 26,2018 I face the most difficult thing I have ever had to do in my life time. As some of you already know my wife (Pat) was diagnosed in April of 2017 with stage 6 of 7 stages of Alzheimer s disease. This all started approximately 5 years ago and has progressed very rapidly. The last 2 1/2 years have been extremely difficult and has virtually claimed me as its second victim. I have tried my best to care for her at home as long as I could but I am no longer able to care for her 24/7 and at 82 years old father time is also taking its toll on me. Pat will be admitted to St Mary s Manor in South Milwaukee for full time care. It is a small facility with only 17 beds. I know I had mentioned to some friends how difficult this is because we as men are always the fixer uppers we can fix ANY- THING! Kids come to us from day one to adult hood always Dad can you fix this for me so when a situation like this arises it tears me up that I can t fix it! It will be up to God from now on.
