SABINA Prior to the installation of the Sabina Model K, Sabina used an Ielfield machine cancel device ( ). Additional uses of either the Ielfield or the Model K for the interim period should be sought. SABINA MODEL K DT After the Model K, an International electric machine was installed. Its dial is identified by the rather large comma between the city name and the state. SANDUSKY Sandusky received an American Flag cancel device in 1898, and used it at its main post office until 1913, which included the use of the Perry s Victory slogan flag. A Columbia slogan marking Perry s Victory was also briefly used in 1913, followed by a Columbia 8-bar cancel to It would appear from the table that the Universal was tried in From 1920, the work horse at the Sandusky main post office has been the International electric machines. Cedar Point has been a busy station for Sandusky. It started with a Columbia cancel in It too used an American Flag cancel device, with the first installation in 1927 without a designation of its station status (or blind use as it is called). From , the appropriate station designation appeared in the flag itself. As can be seen from the chart below, a Universal device was used. Bob Payne notes a large dial in The Editor has not seen this dial.
