The controller is a sliding element in the airconditioning pipe to provide a controlled amount of air for the inlet and outlet. The flap is connected to a calibrated spring that provides flow control. Adjusting the air flow is done by loosening the center screw, which allows the control mechanism up or down. Changing the flow rate is only possible within the given range of the controller, which is specified in the product code.
