Upcoming Events Page MOGSEC 2018 Page Calendar of Events Page 12 Wednesday, 13th September 2017 Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister, YB Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, who is also Minister of Industrial and Entrepreneur Development and Second Minister of Urban Development and Natural Resources, received a courtesy visit from The Malaysian Oil & Gas Services Council (MOGSC) and Sarawak MOGSC members at his office in Wisma Sumber Alam, Kuching. Led by MOGSC President, Puan Sharifah Zaida Nurlisha, the visit was aimed at briefing him about the roles and functions of the council and strengthen relationship between the state government and the council. Also present was Assistant Minister of Entrepreneur and SME Development, Datuk Naroden Majais. Following the courtesy visit, MOGSC visited and handed-over a donation to the Sarawak Children's Cancer Society (SCCS). Delivering the cheque to SCCS representatives were MOGSC President, Honorary Secretary, Puan Linda Zain, Executive Committee Member and Sarawak Sector Mentor, Encik Jamalludin Obeng as well as its Sarawak Sector Chairman, Encik Yatim Noor. SCCS is a non-profit organization formed in 1999 by a group of parents of children with cancer. The society was set up for the care and support of Malaysian children suffering from the disease and their families by giving them financial and emotional support.

2 MOGSC NEWS BULLETIN Q Issue Fabricator Forum Thursday, 17th August The Fabricator Forum & Dialogue with offshore fabricators was organized by the MOGSC Manufacturer and Fabricator Working Group. The objective of this Forum was to understand and hear from the Offshore Fabricator players their views on the current landscape, challenges, strategies, outlook and any new technology developments in order to stay competitive in the industry. 3 MOGSC NEWS BULLETIN Q Issue MOGSC Member CEO Dialogue Tuesday, 22nd August The CEO Dialogue session was organized to discuss industry issues and gather feedback from member CEOs. The CEO dialogue session started with a presentation by the Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation (MPRC) on their plans to support the industry. This was followed by Wood Mackenzie s presentation on APAC pre-fid projects vs the World: Where are your Putting your Money? A review of the PETRONAS Activity Outlook was done with the attendees followed by a feedback session on the industry way forward.
