3 X G50 Discount AIRTROL The Reeves AIRTROL unit is a pneumatic shifting actuator for remote manual control and automatic process control. When used in open or closed loop control systems, the AIRTROL unit automatically and continuously corrects operating speeds of the unit to compensate for variations in materials or processes such as temperature, liquid level, pressure, weight, peripheral speed and proportional flow. Features of AIRTROL: Operated on standard 3 to 15 psi air signal from any process instrument. Exlusive ìspan Adjustmentî makes it possible to use the full signal.... locking the 3 psi signal exactly to minimum speed and the 15 psi signal exactly to the maximum speed of the MOTO DRIVE units. This applies to units of 2:1 speed range as well as 10:1 (maximum) speed range. Exclusive contoured cam design results in output speed in linear (straight line) relationship with instrument air signal over the entire speed range of the drive. This cam also permits the control to be very sensitive yet stable throughout the speed range of the drive. Reeves AIRTROL units are usable in hazardous and explosive environments by specifying the air supply solenoid shut-off valve to be explosion proof. An electric solenoid valve, which is normally supplied in the same voltage as the drive motor, shuts off the plant air supply of the AIRTROL unit when the unit is stopped, preventing the AIRTROL from operating. The AIRTROL package include the AIRTROL unit itseld, the electric solenoid shut-off valve, and the plant air supply line filterregulator and gauge. It is recommended for use in applications that require long term storage, extra guard for corrosive ambient areas, and applications requiring operating at one set speed for long periods of time $ K 787 Explosion-Proof Electric Remote Contrl (ERC) Available for sizes 200 thru 600K only. The ERC is suitable for UL Class I, Group D and Class II, Groups F & G. The gearmotor is single phase, 60 Hz, type CS, 3-leads, not instantly reversible, 15 minute duty, with built in thermal protection, explosion-proof control motor mounted on the case. The ERC is supplied with one explosion-proof push-button station. For this modification add $3,548. For an extra explosionproof push-button station, add $446. REEVES PULLEY Electric Remote Control (ERC) The control gearmotor is totally enclosed, single phase, 115 volt, 50/60 Hz (specify on order), intermittent duty, permanent split capacitor, 3-lead and instantly reversible. The control includes one momentary contact type, two element push-button station in a surface mount NEMA 1 enclosure. The push-button station is marked FAST and SLOW. Sizes 050 thru 300 ERC include a built in brake, automatically reset thermal protection, and adjustable electric limit switches. Sizes 400 thru 600K ERC include built in overload protection, adjustable mechanical stops, and a safety clutch to prevent over shifting damage. Tachometers The Tachometer pick-up system is a standard magnetic reluctance pick-up. A 60 tooth gear is mounted on the variable shaft, which is related to the output shaft speed by the reducer ratio. A digital readout indicator is included with the choice of a battery powered LCD display, or a 115vAC powered LED display. Both displays are fully programmable, so that the output can be user calibrated to match any output characteristic. Also included is 10 feet of signal cable wit the Amphenol connector for connection to the magnetic pick-up. The cable length may be increased by the user up to 500 feet. Additional indicators may be purchased. Trunnion Mounting Trunnion mounting is a reducer foot print mounting system. The unit mounts on two sets of feet on opposite sides of the beltcase, instead of the one larger foot print of the normal mounting. The option is only available on no reducer and single reduction units. No adder is required but must be specified on order. XT-Extra Tough Package For sizes , the beltcase is totally enclosed and Chromalife Discs are normally not required. If XT features are requested, an XT motor can be added to the drive. For sizes , this option includes a Reliance XT motor, Chromalife Discs, sealed bearings, ventilated inspection and bearing plates $ ,257 ULTIMA Retrofit Kits Retrofits are available to convert a Reeves Motordrive unit to the Ultima design. These kits are ideal to modify an existing unit to provide the ease and simplicity of performing routing maintenance the Ultime drive permits. The kit replaces a beltcase with an Ultima backplate, cover and control assembly. The kit also includes a new belt, bushing, thrust bearing and variable shaft bearing. All other components from the existing unit can continue to be used. These retrofit kits are only available for and useablge on a standard C-Flow unit. They are not adaptable to Z-Flow, Trunnion foot, Inverted vertical assemblies and unit with brakes and tachometers. Refer to the chart bekow for selection. When ordering, be sure to include nameplate data from the existing unit for that a Mechanical Field Change (MFC) number can be issued. A new stamped nameplate with this MFC number will be included in the kit and will ensure that the correct replacement parts are provided in the future.
