1 Datasheet No.: TYF-01 Differential Pressure Control Valve TYF-Series Differential pressure control valve(dpcv) can keep the differential pressure at two sides of load constant,that can improve the stability and accuracy,reduce the noise,and easy to balance and commission. Valve body material: Ductile iron Caliber:65~250 Differential pressure setting range:20-80kpa or Kpa Temperature range: -10~120 The max. working DP: P V 250kPa Characteristics 1.Pressure hole of low pressure cavity is built-in, reduce an external connecting pipe, which avoids damage during installation. 2.Target differential pressure value can be setted by hand wheel,it is more convenient. Every number on the hand wheel is corresponding to one setted value. Pre-setting function can be realized easily on site. 3.This valve has manual closing function, plug allen wrench into the center of hand wheel, rotate it to open and close the valve. 4.Balancing diaphragm and spring are built-in, it is nice and reliable. 5.External high pressure testing point, there is locking function, one allen wrench can lock external connecting pipe. 1

As shown in the installation diagram, one end of capillary pipe connects DPCV, the other end connects with low pressure end of static balancing valve through 3-port testing point2. Now the system is in a state of low pressure. 2.Open the plug of air hole3(if valve is installed downward,use air hole4) then open the 3-port testing point. Pour water into pipeline until it exhausts all the air in valve cavity,and lock the air hole plug. 3.As shown in the installation diagram,use digital differential pressure meter(see page 6) to measure differential pressure of P 2 and P 3,that is P L. 4.Setting P L by rotating hand wheel7.accurately adjust according to data of digital pressure meter. Cut off function: on the top of hand wheel7,close the valve by allen wrench. Testing points5,6 Remove the cover and then insert the probe into self sealing testing point. Red is high pressure end, blue is low pressure end Capillary pipe1 2m capillary pipe is optional if longer one is needed. Attention! Must use matched capillary pipe. 2

Kv max D.Working range P L ±25% Selection 1.Select the desired P L in the tables. 2.Select the same size of the valve as the pipe. 3.Check that the desired flow is smaller than the specified qmax.if not,select the most similar large dimension,or a larger P L. Then dig a hole at the pressure-sampling position on pipe and weld the joint onto the pipe. 7 Debugging Instrument Technical Parameters Interface Introuduction TPS is a debugging instrument for measuring and documenting of differential pressure, flow, temperature and power consumption in hydronic systems. It connects to the specialized APP sofeware in an Android phone via bluetooth which could debug faster and more economical. Max. Time is in the middle. On the right, it shows the connecting status of device, Bluetooth connection status and device battery status. When the connection works, t h is icon will flicker. 2Title Bar: the software title is in the middle, right is setting button. Its functions include equipment search, help, update and so on. Search: search for Bluetooth devices, paired and so on. Help: provide operating instructions. Update: interconnection state, update software if there is a new version. About: check the version number of the program. 3Display Bar: show current status of DP, Flow and temperature, connection status, current cycles, current KV value and Distortion Ratio. 4Formula Bar: Input basic testing parameters, including valve number, caliber choice, cycles setting, design flow, remark info. and so on. 5Operation Bar: Include calibrate, connect, data storage, view records and generate reports. Calibrate: calibrate the zero drift of the instrument. Connect: connect to the default paired device. Data Storage: store the current measuring value. View records: View the current records in the database. Generate reports: generate xls spreadsheet and store in the SD card. 6Menu Bar: include measure, data, settings and about. Measure: turn to measuring interface Data: view xls spreadsheet management. Settings: set the normal operation information, such as project name, company selection and so on. 7
