Select location for mounting the Flatz make sure that you have enough flat surface to properly adhere to. Make sure surface in clean and free of dirt and contaminates. If mounting on Street Glide Filler Panels, See Supplemental installation on page Using the included 3M Promoter Ampule, apply to the surface area that LEDs will adhere to, allow 4-5 minutes to dry. 3. Test fit the units in the desired location, mark the location of the wiring, then drill at the location with 1/8 drill bit. Or mount unit at an edge and wrap wires around edge. 4. Uncoil the wires and feed through hole or around edge. 5. Remove a few inches of the red backing from the tape on the end with the wire, fold towards you for enough to grab onto to remove the rest in a minute. Attach the end of the Flatz to the surface while guiding the wire through. Make sure units is the desired place. Slowly pull on the red backing, removing it all the way. Apply light pressure to the unit to ensure go contact with the surface. ATTENTION Please read all Information below before Installation Important: It is recommended to perform this installation in a controlled environment of 65 degrees F or higher and allow 24 hours for the tape to bond completely before washing or operating the vehicle. Note: When removing turn signals on some vehicles and switching to LEDs a fast flash from the turn signals may occur. A load equalizer or signal stabilizer will be required for normal flash rate. Contact us for details. Important: Cap off any unused wires to prevent shorting. Disclaimer: This product is designed and intended for use as auxiliary lighting on motorcycles only. This product is NOT intended to replace any original equipment lighting installed on the motorcycle and should not be used for that purpose. This product must be wired such that it does not interfere with any original equipment lighting. 6. Bring wiring to the desired area of the vehicle s wiring harness, make sure that all of the functions, run, brake, turn, and ground are present before proceeding. Using a meter or test light is a good idea to confirm which wires carry each function. 7. Use the diagram on the following pages towire the Flatz into the harness with the included Posi-Tap Connectors. For instructions on using Connectors see Figure Right. 8. Secure wires with the included tie wraps, make sure wiring will not come in contact with moving parts or in an area with high heat. Also take care that wires will not get pinched or frayed.

2 Installation Instructions - Page 2 Installation Tip for HD Street Glide Filler Panels Use the Fender edge line and keep a fingers width between it and the FLATZ housing for optimum level and surface adhesion. The photo above shows the ideal placement for the FLATZ LEDs. Due to the curvature of the filler panel, keeping the unit within a fingers width of the fender line maximizes the surface area the unit will adhere to. Note that in this installation fitment, not 100% of the adhesive surface of the Flatz will make contact with the filler panel due to this curvature. There will sufficient surface area when the LED is affixed in the area shown.

When using Flatz with only one function, the unused wire should be capped off to prevent shorting.

Other Functions available: Brake/Turn - Using the MPR-BCM and Not connecting the Yellow wire, (wire should be capped off to prevent shorting) Run/Brake - Using the BCM and dual converters connecting the orange wire from the dual converter to the Blue wire, and the red wire from the dual converter to the Red wire in the MPR H-D motorcycles do not need a Load equalizer when removing stock turn signals.
