The robust display cases are protected against dust and damp, the doors are glazed with toughened float glass and sealed both sides of the glazing with a perimeter EPDM seal. To prevent vandalism, the cases are supplied with a concealed secure locking system (an instruction sheet is provided). All designs can be finished in most BS or RAL series colours, ensuring consistency within street furniture schemes. The larger cases are supplied with support stays to hold the door open when changing posters. A decorative header board can also be supplied above the display case and can be cast to include the local authority name, site details or public information. This is available single or double-sided for freestanding column mounted display cases. To disengage locks: Engage key in hexagonal socket and unlock by turning clockwise until screw is loose. Slide locking block to stop screw. Repeat for second lock if fitted. Door will now open. When sliding block apply slight pressure to front of frame to compress seal and allow free traverse, as shown To lock: Engage key in hexagonal socket Slide locking block away from stop screw. Lock by turning screw anti-clockwise. Repeat for second lock if fitted. Header Board Graphics & Finish Graphics are cast in relief. State the typeface and dimensional layout requirements. Header boards are available in a gloss finish to most BS 4800 & RAL series colours. Graphics are generally highlighted in contrasting colours.
