3 road lighting - ordering details When ordering lanterns the following information will enable us to identify the product you require both quickly and accurately. By using our reference numbering system, errors can be avoided thus ensuring that the right products are delivered to the correct address. 1 Your company name, contact name and telephone number. 2 Your order number 6 Lantern reference number made up as the example below. 7 Supply voltage and frequency. 8 Abacus lanterns are supplied in either integral or remote control gear versions. For lanterns supplied with remote control gear this can be provided either as loose components or pre-wired on gear trays (extra cost). Please specify which is required. 3 Invoice address 4 Delivery address (if different to above) and, if notification of delivery is required in advance, contact name and telephone number. 5 Quantity of lanterns required. 9 Most lanterns are provided with non cutout ignitors and standard ballasts. Ballasts protected with internal thermal overload switches and ignitors with cutout facility are available at extra cost. Please specify which is required. The retained bowl lowers for lamp replacement. Lower the gear compartment cover for access to the removable control gear tray (b). Post mounted lanterns may be set to either 5 or 15 angle of tilt using the elevation clamping plate supplied (a). The curved tempered glass bowl improves performance by up to 5% in comparison with traditional flat glass lanterns. Urban Optic Alliance s unique Urban Optic, offers the designer the opportunity of a decorative road lighting solution. 14 road lighting - AL6800 series Alliance IP66 IP54 Hassle free maintenance Lamp Replacement Access to the luminaire for lamp replacement or maintenance is achieved without the need for special tools. Simply unlock the front latch (Fig 1) & lower the lower body until it is engaged by the stainless steel stay hinge. When fully opened (50 entrance angle) there is easy access to all internal components for quick maintenance (Fig 2). Access to the lamp is achieved by a quarter turn "twist lock" of the lamp holder outer casing. Fig 1 Control Gear The electrical control gear tray is located within the upper body casting, attached via a quick release catch system, for ease of maintenance (Fig 3).
