1 INTRODUCTION Description: Overview The Taylor C0 Soft Serve & Milkshake Freezer machine is used to make soft serve ice cream and milkshakes. It has a. lt milkshake hopper and a. lt soft serve hopper. The assembly and priming procedures are very important and must be followed exactly in order for the equipment to work correctly. 0 Yum Restaurant Services Group, Inc. Page

2 Caution Failure to adhere to the safety precautions may result in severe personal injury, poor freezer performance, equipment damage and health hazard. Caution Injury, equipment and health hazard! Do not operate this machine without reading this operator s manual. Do not allow untrained personnel to operate this machine. Do not obstruct air intake and discharge openings: A minimum of mm air space is required on both sides; no space is required for the rear. This freezer must be placed on a level surface. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electrocution or damage to the machine. Do not operate the freezer unless it is properly grounded. Electrocution and equipment hazard! Do not operate the freezer with larger fuses than specified on the freezer data label. Do not attempt any repairs unless the main power supply to the freezer has been disconnected. Do not use a water jet to clean or rinse the freezer. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury from hazardous moving parts. Moving parts! Do not operate the freezer unless all service panels and access doors are restrained with screws. Do not remove the door, beater and blades, or drive shaft unless the control switch is in the OFF position. Do not put objects or fingers in door spout. Reset Button The reset button is located in the service panel at the rear of the machine. The reset mechanism protects the beater motor from an overload condition. Should an overload occur, the reset mechanism will trip. To properly reset the freezer, place the power switch in the OFF position. Press the reset button firmly. Turn the power switch to the ON position. Touch the WASH symbol and observe the freezer s performance. Do not press the reset button while the machine is working. If it is turning properly, press the WASH symbol to cancel cycle. Press the AUTO symbol of the machine to resume normal operation. If the freezer shuts down again, contact your authorised service technician. Warning: Do not use metal objects to press the reset button. 14 Page BO Beater Overload occurred during the heat cycle. CL Cool Time Too Long - Mix temperature in hopper and freezing cylinder did not fall below ºC in less than 0 minutes. HO High Pressure Cut-Out occurred during the heat cycle. HT Heat Time Too Long - Mix temperature did not rise above ºC in less than 0 minutes. MO Mix Out - A mix out condition was detected at the start or during the heat cycle. ML Mix Low - The Heat Phase or Cool Phase time was exceeded and a mix low condition was present. OP Operator Abort - Indicates the heat cycle was aborted in the OPERATOR ABORT option in the service menu. PD Product Door not in place or is loose. PF Power Failure - A power failure caused the heat phase, cool phase, or total cycle Time to exceed the max. allowed time. If a power failure occurs, but the heat treatment cycle does not fail, an asterisk (*) will appear on the third line of the display. PS Power Switch OFF - The power switch was turned OFF during heat cycle. TH Thermistor Switch OFF. - A thermistor probe has failed.
