3 ID Module( IDM) (A7) failure Error Code EEM or 457 Models: CVT/CVX/TVT/T7500 Subject ID : 30937,31638 PB Master: 3353 Group : 55 / 440 CR Engines EEM 3 Error code 453 is displayed, engine power is reduced and the engine rpm is limited to 1500 rpm. Error code is active and warning lamp is on. EEM 3 Error code 457 is displayed, Error code is active and warning lamp is on. No 12 Volt supply for the IDM or IDM is defect. Set the by-pass function and replace ID module. Order new IDM. The construction of the ID module has been changed due to component damages caused by temperature changes of hard insulating compound. The new insulating compound is gel-like, which prevents module component damages. The new ID module cover has Sisu Diesel logo on it for identification. The ID module can be mounted with breakaway cap screws or with normal Allen screws (M8 x 20) and its tightening torque is 10 Nm. Note! Over tightening can damage the ID module. New EEM3 Software version / will be available which ignores a defect IDM. In case of an EEM3 module replacement and the IDM failed before then it will display EC EEM3 465 "Missing IDM", 50 hour by-pass function must be set with EST. After this 50 hours the automatic by-pass function is set for 1 hour a time, total 400 hours. After start key off/on the timer for one hour by-pass function will start again for one hour. A new IDM with the specific engine number must be ordered from Parts Operation. From Engine Serial Number: U19341, Chassis number appr. Z8SE ID Module, version C
4 Oil leakage from engine breather Models: CVT/CVXTVT/T7500 Subject ID : PB Master: NO Group : 10 /304 Oil leaking from engine breather Engine oil drops come out of the breather hose when tractor is parked No closed breather system The solution with the added splash shield in the valve cover (see TIC 2007,page9) is for some customer not satisfactorily. Engineering is working on a closed breather system solution. If you have such an issue please enter an Asist report. Rear Valve cover
5 Fuel Hoses are cracking Models: CVT/CVX/TVT/T7500 Subject ID : PB Master: 3835 Group : 10 / 210 Leaky fuel lines Fuel hoses are cracking Quality issue, hoses are not fully resistant against Ozon Replace them with the current parts. Engineering has released hoses which are resist against Ozon. The new hose will have the part number printed on. As soon as the part is available in Parts Operation a Service Bulletin will be issued Fuel hose ( sold by meter)
6 Repair Kit for Steering Column is required Models: CVT/CVX/TVT/T7500 Subject ID : PB Master: NO Group : 41 /204 Steering column, no kit available Steering column control broken Broken gear segment or lever, no repair kit available Repair as required Repair kit for Steering column, Supplier OVV is available in Parts Operation. Chronic of OVV Steering columns: Pn has been introduced in production from DBD has been campaigned with EA131/445,campaign pn Pn has been introduced in production from DBD Pn (restricted profile deviation) has been introduced in production from Z7SD So for all this Steering columns the repair kit part number is valid. 7 Right hand Side Rear Brake Discs wear too early Models: CVT/CVX/TVT/T7500 Subject ID : PB Master: 3730 Group : 33/202 Brake pedals go to floor when applying the brake pedals SGR Error code 136 is displayed in the ADIC or ICU2. RHS brake discs wear to early. The oil sump level on the RHS is less than on the LHS because the differential sucks oil away. Repair with current parts. 2.Take off the coils from the valves Y11 and Y12, leave them connected and bind the coils with a cable tie to a safe point. Then we have from 0 to 50 kph, max. oil flow for brake cooling available. If there is a brake disc failure on a tractor the trailer brake function have to investigated too. Brake Assy
8 Front axle brake hubs become hot Models: CVT/CVX/TVT/T7500 Subject ID : PB Master: NO Group : and axle Brake disc wear Increase temperatue on the front axle hub Brake disc material is limited to dissipate the heat in brakes NA Sinter brake disc are available in Parts Operation. The previous paper lining discs and the sinter discs are fully interchangeable. Sinter brake discs will be not fitted in production M1 Brake Disc
9 Front PTO noise Models: CVT/CVX/TVT/T7500 Subject ID : PB Master: 3330 Group : 31/146 Front PTO Excessive PTO noise at idle Front PTO chattering noise in idle speed a) Headless set screw ( allen screw) pos. 19 not tighten b) Down force to the gear is not sufficient ( see TIC 2007, page 29) Verify if allen screw is tighten. It makes no sense to change the front PTO assemble because there is no improvement for the moment. A noisy FPTO tractor will be send to the supplier for the root cause. finding. In the event of the above symptom being reported or found, place an Asist report and use the correct coding FPTO complet 1 9

Do to the work load in tech. Pub. Department only the Installation Instruction( ) for Tier3, Phase 2 models is available. For Tier2 and Tier3,phase 1 models use Installation Instruction from Tier 3,phase 2 models till the Installation Instruction is available for the remaining models. 13 AC condense water drops into the cab Models: CVT/CVX/TVT/T7500 Subject ID : 4938 PB Master: 3564 Group : 50 /200 Water drops in the cab from the AC inlet air ducts under specific humidity conditions and outside temperature a) inconstantly voltage supply from driver amplifier for the fan speed potentiometer. b) Poor evacuation of the condense water partly entrained by the fan air flow. Following modifications will be introduced in production: a) new driver with a constant voltage supply for fan speed potentiometer b) metal mesh will be fitted to the front side of the evaporator c ) an additional strip will be fitted on the AC housing to avoid condense water runs out of the drain pan.
