3 SYSTEM OF PUMP STATIONS AND MANIFOLDS A modular system with pump stations and manifolds permits formation of assemblies for various heating systems and heat sources. It facilitates connection of floor or wall heating, of radiators and also DHW heating. Any heat source can be used a heat pump, gas or electric boiler, solid-fuel boiler etc. The heat source can run with/without a thermal store. HV-SG manifolds make it possible to connect a safety assembly (safety and air vent valves, pressure gauge thermally insulated) and an expansion vessel or drain valve. They facilitate installation of heating circuit pump stations and heat source connection either directly or via a hydraulic pressure balancer. 15 CIRCULATION PUMPS FOR HEATING SYSTEMS Grundfos ALPHA High Efficiency Pumps High efficiency circulation pumps based on ALPHA L model, upgraded with a display, AUTOADAPT function and automatic night setback function. The AUTOADAPT function, i.e. the factory setting, analyses the heating system and adjusts the pump setting automatically to meet the heat requirements. AUTOADAPT function can be applied in about 8% of all heating systems. An easily readable LED display shows the actual power consumption in W during operation.
