76 Hose Couplers The hose coupler system is available in a wide range to suit most hose diameters commonly used. The couplers are made from electrically conductive plastic material, and are available in two diameters of the tapered coupler section 40 and 50 mm. The male 50 series fits directly to the KV flap valve and the automatic TAV valve. To connect the 40 series to either the 50 series or to the above mentioned valves an adapter is used. Using the couplers makes it very easy to connect / disconnect the vacuum hose simply by turning pushing or turning pulling. 90 Curtain Strips The Nederman curtain strips are used instead of full curtains when the mechanical load from passing through is heavy and regular and also when protection is required because of draught, moisture, oilmist, cold etc. The strips are made of PVC material, 2 or 3mm thick and 300mm wide, which can be mounted with 50 or 100 mm (33% or 66%) overlap. When requested height is above 2.8m the 3mm thick strips are recommended as well as 100 mm (66%) overlap. Also when the passage is used by fork lift trucks the 3mm strips are recommended.
