Today capillary is the fastest growing form of artificial lift. A total of 10,000 completions in the world within the last 9 years. Given: That Capillary Strings have had great success on land w ith smaller reserv oir wells. Shouldn t we get more dramatic results with a larger pay back, offshore, with large reserv oir wells? 2 Running the InjectSafe TM SV and Capillary Tubing Lock out the TRSSSV and communicated the hydraulic piston chamber. The Tubing Retrievable SCSSV is now the equivalent to a hydraulic nipple. Now deploy the long Capillary string (SSSV - perfs), connect the InjectSafe valve and deploy to SSSV depth on wireline. R/D wireline, R/U Capillary unit and deploy short string though the Y body modification on the wellhead and hang off / terminate. The stinger is used to stab into the PBR on the short string through the Y Body Storm Chokes or velocity valves are not needed. This connection can effectively become the new control, negating a possible workover. The PBR receives the stinger, connected to the short string 2
