5 PNEUMATIC AIRLESS PUMPS WORKING PRINCIPLE The pneumatic pumps and Accessories of the Nova, Omega, Ghibli and Vega series work using the principle of airless painting: high pressure painting without air assistance. Atomisation occurs when the product is passed at a very high pressure (more than 120 bar) via a small opening called nozzle. The pumps may be supplied, according to the models, on trolleys, wall brackets, or on pail in order to ensure easy use and simple and fast maintenance. Airless painting guarantees: Airless painting exerts pressure on the product, forcing it to pass through an appropriately-sized opening (calibrated). The product reaches such a speed and force that the impact with the air mass causes its division of the product. The angle of the fan spray is determined by the size of the nozzle. 107 SUPER FAST CLEAN NOZZLE TOP SPRAYING CLEAN AND STANDARD NOZZLES CHOOSING A NOZZLE When choosing a paint nozzle, it is important to consider both the size of the surface to be covered and the amount of product to be deposited. The amount of product deposited is reduced when the nozzle orifice remains the same, but the spraying angle increases. Similarly, if the spraying angle is reduced, the amount of product deposited increases. Always make sure that the product selected for use is suitable for airless applications. PROBLEM The nozzle jams repeatedly? Too much product? Too little product?
