2 ABOUT ROIS ROIS is a brand owned by Uster. Founded in 1981, it is specialized on fine mechanics. Uster has always been cooperating with different companies which operate in the aeronautics, food, energy and valve industries. In 1996 Uster was ISO 9001 certified thanks to a careful organisation of the company processes. In 2000 the company moved into a new location and made big investments to buy up-todate machines in order to offer high precision and high quality manufactures. Uster is now able to launch the new micro-dosing valves thanks to it new brand ROIS. 3 Diaphragm Valve for food manufacturing and packaging The diaphragm ROIS valve dispenses exact and uniform quantities of food and beverages during the production as well as the packaging process. The diaphragm valve is suitable for: - Filling bottles, jars and bags with beverages or lotions. - Dispensing greases and lubricants on metal pieces used for canning processes. - Dispensing dots of cyanoacrylates and adhesives on packages. - Accurately dispensing micro beads and lines of solvents. Thanks to its compact shape, this valve is easy and flexible to install in automated solutions Both utilisation and maintenance of the valve are easy: spare parts can be replaced directly by the user. 7 Diaphragm Valve Model VM100 The short valve travel ensures a maximum quick response and a positive shutoff. The valve is designed to handle high frequency cycling and disposes of a knob on the top to control the impulses. It is entirely built in stainless steel and the diaphragm is strictly made of PTFE/UHMW/PVDF so it is suitable for the most demanding industries.
