1 Universal Radiator Overflow Recovery Bottle Kit Products By Riders For Riders. Contents: Your No-Boil kit should contain the following parts : A. 170 ml HDPE plastic bottle with two mounting grooves. B. 2 Caps and o-ring seals. C. 2 meters thick wall PVC 6mm piping. D. 2 small cable ties for clamping pipe. E. 2 large cable ties for mounting. F. Installation Instructions. Page 1

2 Installation Instructions: Step 1 Take your time and find a suitable location on the bike where you want to install the No-Boil bottle. The No-Boil bottle can be mounted upright or at an angle. Some mounting suggestions are: Behind the radiator (Use radiator braces if they are installed). Under rear fender, opposite side to the exhaust pipe, behind the side number board, using sub-frame. In front of the radiator shroud(be careful not to hinder airflow to the radiator) Choose one side of the No-Boil bottle to be the bottom and tighten this cap nice and snugly. Use the 2 large cable ties(e) to securely mount the No-Boil bottle. Ensure the cable ties are seated in the 2 large grooves on the No-Boil bottle. This will ensure the bottle doesn t slip or slide out from the cable ties. Page 2

3 Step 2 Totally remove the current over flow pipe and clamp(if bike has one installed) from the top of the radiator. Put the clamp you removed from the original overflow pipe on one end of the new PVC piping(c). Boil the kettle and fill a cup with boiling water. Take one end of the PVC piping and put 20mm of the pipe in the hot water for 30 seconds. This will soften the pipe so it slides over the radiator pug/connector easily. Slide the end of the new PVC pipe you have just warmed up and that has the clamp on it, over the metal radiator pug/connector. Make sure to slide the pipe on all the way to the end. Put the original clamp on or use a small cable tie(d) to secure the pipe in place. Page 3

4 Step 3 Route the new PVC piping that you have just connected in step 2 from the radiator to the bottom side with the tight cap of the No-Boil bottle. Make sure PVC pipe is not crimped under the seat or anywhere were it will get damaged. Cut PVC piping to the correct length. Warm the end of the pipe in the hot water for 30 seconds. Now Slide this end over the pug/connector at the bottom of the No-Boil bottle. Make sure to slide the pipe on all the way to the end. Use a small cable tie(d) to secure the pipe in place. You have now connected a pipe from the overflow of the radiator to the bottom of the No-Boil bottle. Neaten up the new installed pipe and secure to the motorcycle if needed with additional cable ties(not included). Step 4 Using the left over pipe, warm one end of the pipe in hot water for 30 seconds. Now Slide this end over the pug/connector on the cap of the No-Boil bottle. Make sure to slide the pipe on all the way to the end. Use a small cable tie(d) to secure the pipe in place. This is your overflow pipe. Route the pipe to under the bike or maybe onto the exhaust pipe. That way if your bike is spewing coolant you will see the steam coming off the exhaust pipe and know to let the bike cool down and check your coolant level. A kind of warning system when you see the steam. Page 4

5 Step 5 We strongly recommend using Engine Ice High Performance Coolant. Add coolant to the No-Boil bottle till it is only a ¼ full. You need to bleed the new system of air. Open your radiator cap, but don t take it off totally. Use your mouth and blow a constant pressure on the overflow pipe. The coolant will start to run into the radiator, without stopping the blowing pressure, close the radiator cap. Page 5

6 Step 6 Top up the No-Boil bottle with coolant to the top of the tread of the lower/bottom cap, this is at the upper mark. Go Ride!! Page 6
