1 ENGINE PUMP PRESSURE SWITCH 113GK (112GK) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION WARNING: 1. Equipment and Materials CHECK THAT THE LANDING GEAR GROUND SAFETIES INCLUDING WHEEL CHOCKS ARE IN POSITION. BEFORE APPLING OR RELIEVING HYDRAULIC SYSTEM PRESSURE, MAKE CERTAIN THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE CONTROL SURFACES ARE CLEAR. 2 2. Procedure A. Job Set-Up (1) Open, safety and tag the following circuit breakers associated with engine pump pressure switch to be removed. (a) Engine pump pressure switch 113GK PANEL SERVICE IDENT. LOCATION Engine 1 Green Pump ENG1/PUMP CTL/G 99GK 101GK GEN1/B8 GEN2/B11 331/V58 334/S57 FED ALL (b) FED Engine pump pressure switch 112GK PANEL SERVICE IDENT. LOCATION Engine 2 Green Pump ENG2/PUMP CTL/G 100GK 103GK GEN1/B8 GEN2/B11 332/U58 334/S58 Engine 1 Green Pump ENG1/PUMP CTL/G 99GK 101GK GEN2/B8 GEN2/B8 331/V58 334/S57 Page 2 of 7

Block 301). (3) Depressurize Green hydraulic reservoir (Ref , P. Block 301). (4) Display a warning notice on panel 427VU prohibiting pressurization and use of Green hydraulic system. (5) Open access door 147AL. (6) Display a warning notice on ground connectors prohibiting pressurization and use of Green hydraulic system. (7) Install access platform at zone 470 (480). (8) Remove access panel 473AL (483AL). (9) Place a container under the engine pump pressure switch. B. Removal (Ref. Fig. 401) Page 3 of 7

4 (1) Cut and remove lockwire and disconnect electrical connector (1). (2) Remove pressure switch (2), discard packing (3). (3) Plug/cap engine pump pressure switch and manifold. C. Preparation of Replacement Component (1) Lubricate packing (3) with hydraulic fluid, Material No D. Installation (1) Install pressure switch (2) equipped with packing (3) on manifold (4). TORQUE pressure switch (2) to between 30.2 and 38.3 lbf.ft (4.1 and 5.2 m.dan.). Page 4 of 7

5 E. Test (2) Connect and wirelock electrical connector (1). (1) Remove safety clips and tags and close circuit breakers,,, then 99GK, 101GK or 100GK, 103GK. (2) Remove warning notices. (3) Pressurize Green hydraulic reservoir (Ref , P. Block 301). (4) Energize the aircraft electrical network (Ref , P. Block 301). Make certain that electronics racks ventilation is correct. (5) Do the ECAM start procedure (Ref , P. Block 201). (6) On ECAM control panel, press HYD pushbutton switch and on panel 427VU, make certain that corresponding ENG PUMP pushbutton switch is pressed (in). (7) Dry-motor the engine (Ref , P. Block 501). (8) Check pressure switch union for leakage. (9) On panel 427VU, check that LO PR legend goes off as soon as pressure is higher than 2200 psi (152 bars). (10) Stop dry-motoring engine. (11) On panel 427VU, check that LO PR legend comes on as soon as pressure is lower than 1800 psi (124 bars). (12) Check level of hydraulic fluid in reservoir and top-up if required (Ref , P. Block 001). F. Close-Up (1) Do the ECAM stop procedure (Ref , P. Block 201). (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical network (Ref , P. Block 301). (3) Remove container. (4) Make certain that working areas are clean and clear of tools and miscellaneous items of equipement. (5) Install access panel 473AL (483AL). (6) Close access door 147AL.
