Apply flat or semi-gloss black paint to the supplied #4 x 3/4 oval head screws as shown. Threading the screws into a piece of cardboard allows for quicker and easier paint application. 2. Apply masking tape to the chromed openings of the factory grilles as shown Use a plastic tool to push through the double faced tape securing the factory emblem and remove it from the grille. 4. Carefully remove any remaining factory double faced tape from the back of the emblem and remove the alignment stud from the back of the 1. Leave the alignment stud on the back of the Z. Install the supplied.045 x 3/4 double faced tape to the back of the emblem.

2 Peel off the double faced backing and install the supplied emblem mounting plate to the back of the emblem. Once the emblem is pressed firmly into place to set the tape, remove the alignment pin from the back of the Z prior to installation. 6. For mesh grilles: Align the emblem onto the E&G upper bottom mesh grille approximately 1/4 below the inside edge of the surround Install the small black plastic washers, #10 lock washers and #8-32 S.S. hex nuts onto the back of the emblem mounting plate and tighten. 8. For E-Power mesh grilles: Align the emblem onto the E&G upper bottom mesh grille against the inside edge of the surround Install the small black plastic washers, #10 lock washers and #8-32 S.S. hex nuts onto the back of the emblem mounting plate and tighten. 10. Align the mesh grilles over the factory grilles and use wide masking tape to hold the mesh grille sections in place during the following hardware installation (mesh grilles shown, E-Power mesh grilles similar).

Use long nosed pliers to crimp the 4 way retainers around the mesh wires. 11 12 11.

The retainers and screws on the outer corners of the grille can be installed through the angled ends of the factory insert.

The retainers and screws on the inner portions of the grille can be installed through the horizontal bars of the factory insert (mesh grille shown, E-Power mesh grille similar).

Align the lower mesh grille into the bumper opening and use wide masking tape to hold it into place during the following mounting hardware installation procedure. 14.

Remove the grille, blow out metal shavings and treat the holes with a rust proofing sealer.

Do not completely tighten the screws until the protective masking tape has been removed. 15 16 15.

3 Use long nosed pliers to crimp the 4 way retainers around the mesh wires Install the supplied 4-way mesh retainers and the pre-painted #4 x 3/4 oval head screws into a recessed portion of the factory grille. The retainers and screws on the outer corners of the grille can be installed through the angled ends of the factory insert. Be sure to remove the protective masking tape before you completely tighen the screws (mesh grille shown, E-Power mesh grille similar). 12. Install the supplied 4-way mesh retainers and the pre-painted #4 x 3/4 oval head screws into a recessed portion of the factory grille. The retainers and screws on the inner portions of the grille can be installed through the horizontal bars of the factory insert (mesh grille shown, E-Power mesh grille similar). Note: On E-Power mesh grilles with black mesh, paint the 4-way retainers black after installation Align the lower mesh grille into the bumper opening and use wide masking tape to hold it into place during the following mounting hardware installation procedure. 14. Use a 1/8 drill bit to drill through the lower grille outer mounting holes and through the bumper. Remove the grille, blow out metal shavings and treat the holes with a rust proofing sealer. Realign the grille and install the supplied #6 x 3/4 torx pin head screws using the supplied installation tool. Do not completely tighten the screws until the protective masking tape has been removed Install the supplied 4-way mesh retainers and the pre-painted #4 x 3/4 oval head screws into a recessed portions of the factory grille. The retainers and screws must be installed through the recessed areas (as shown). To finish the Mesh Grille installation, remove the protective cover from the surrounds and use a mild solvent and a soft, clean cloth to remove any glue residue. Use alcohol or glass cleaner and a soft, clean cloth to remove any solvent residue. 16. For E-Power lower mesh grilles: Align the lower E-Power mesh grille into the bumper opening and use wide masking tape to hold it into place during the following mounting hardware installation. Important: The Red Arrows in the above photo indicate where you will drill the mounting holes in the following step.

Realign the grille and install the supplied #4 x 1-1/2 pan head screws through the holes previously drilled in the pressed in studs and the metal bumper. Remove any protective tape before final tightening of the screws. Fine Mesh Grille finished installation. E-Power Fine Chrome Mesh Grille finished installation.
