Prior to drilling the mounting holes, place the assembled grille s mounting pins or studs over the template(s) provided and make sure that the pin or stud and hole locations are the same. If they do not match, please call and ask for technical assistance. Thank you. 1. Open the hood and remove the factory plastic push pins securing the radiator support panel cover and remove the cover (lift the centers of the pins straight up, save for reinstallation).carefully raise the vehicle on a lift or use a jack and jack stands. IMPORTANT: The use of jack stands is a must! Do not rely on the jack to support the vehicle. If the jack fails, serious injury or death could occur. 2. Remove the rear portion of the weatherstrip and use a plastic tool to lift up on the back edge of the radiator support panel cover Remove the eight (8) factory 10mm hex bolts (where shown) securing the top of the factory grille and bumper cover to the core support bracket. 4. Remove the three (3) T-20 torx screws securing each inner fender liner to the bumper cover.

2 Remove the T-20 torx screws retaining the lower aero pan to the bumper cover and side panels, the 10mm hex bolts securing the aero pan to the crossmember, the plastic push fastener securing the aero pan to the crossmember and remove the aero pan from the vehicle. Aero pan removal will make the bumper cover much easier to align and reinstall once the E&G grilles are installed. 6. Pull back on the inner fender liner at the bumper cover / front fender seam and remove the 10mm hex bolts (two each side) retaining the bumper cover to the front fenders Reach up from underneath the vehicle on the driver side to access the bumper cover electrical connector. Rotate the white portion of the connector tab towards the front of the car, then pull forward to seperate the connector. Pull the wire harness from the front frame rail before you remove the bumper cover (not shown). 8. Remove the factory 10mm bolt and front fender mounting bracket located at the top the fender where it meets the bumper cover Apply masking tape to the bumper cover, fenders and headlights where they meet. 10. Once the tape has been applied, pull out on the bumper cover to release it from the mounting channel on the front fenders and underneath the headlights. You can use a material tucking tool to push down on the bumper cover if you are having trouble releasing it from the mounting channel under the headlights.

3 With the help of an assistant, remove the bumper cover from the vehicle and place it onto a clean, flat work area face up. To remove the factory front license plate (if equipped), hold the U-nuts from turning while removing the 7mm hex head bolts. 12. Apply additional masking tape to protect the paint on the bumper cover and factory emblems before removing the factory upper grille Place the bumper cover face down for factory upper grille removal. Use a plastic clip removal tool to pry off the cable ties securing the factory wire harness across the styrofoam bumper support. 14. Pry off the clip retaining the wires going to the air flow shutters Unclip the factory electrical connector from the air flow shutter actuator. 16. Using a wide, flat blade screwdriver, pry off the four (4) metal retaining clips securing the styrofoam bumper filler to the bumper cover.

4 Remove the styrofoam bumper filler (save for reinstallation). 18. Remove the factory phillips screws securing the air flow shutters to the back of the factory grille. Lift straight up on the air flow shutters to remove them (save for reinstallation) Remove the 7mm bolts securing the top edge of the factory grille to the bumper cover. 20. Use a flat blade screwdriver to unclip the sides and the bottom of the factory grille from the bumper cover Pull up on the grille as the clips release and the grille will seperate from the bumper cover. Place the factory grille onto a clean, flat work surface for factory emblem removal. 22. Remove the crest emblem using a flat blade screwdriver to release the mounting clips around the perimeter of the emblem.

5 Remove emblem by lifting straight up once the clips have released. Remove the mounting clips but leave the alignment pins in place (not shown). 24. Install the emblem onto the mounting plate using the supplied.045 x 1 double faced tape (not shown). Install the emblem assembly onto the mesh grille, making sure it is properly located in the recess. Install the emblem mounting washer, lock washers and #8-32 ESNA half nuts and tighten until the emblem is secure For Classic Verticle Grilles: Install the emblems onto the Classic Verticle section by snapping it into the opening. 26. Important: This step not required on V-Sport models. Cut out, overlap and tape together the template found on the last page of this instruction manual. Use masking tape to hold it in place while you mark the hole locations with an awl or similar pointed tool Important: This step not required on V-Sport models. Use a 5/16 drill bit to drill through the marks made in the previous step. 28. For all models: Align the lower grille into place. For models other than V-Sport: Make sure the studs on the grille fit through the holes drilled in the previous step (mesh shown, classic similar).

6 For models other than V-Sport: Install the supplied black nylon washers and #8-32 ESNA half nuts to all studs except the center. Use the supplied rectangular mesh retainer in the center and a #8-32 ESNA half nut to secure (mesh shown, classic similar). 30. For V-Sport models: Install the supplied retaining brackets over the mounting studs and install a #8-32 ESNA half nut onto each stud, then install the supplied #8 x 3/8 truss head screws to secure the brackets to the lower grille insert. Mount the screws at a slight angle to keep the screw tip from protuding through the bumper cover (mesh shown, classic similar) Use a 1/4 drill bit to enlarge the slots in the six (6) factory grille mounting tabs that correspond to the mounting tabs on the E&G Classic grille. 32. Align the Classic grille into the factory grille opening. Make sure the upper mounting studs pass through the factory upper holes in the bumper cover Install the supplied small black plastic washers and #8-32 ESNA half nuts onto the upper studs and tighten Make sure the lower corners of the Classic frame is flush or protuding no more than 1/16 from the face of the bumper cover.

7 Install the supplied x 5/8 black machine screws, black nylon washers and black s.s. hex nuts at all six (6) factory mounting tabs and tighten. 36. Apply several layers of protective masking tape to the peaks of the chrome plated Classic grille, then place the grille / bumper cover assembly face down onto a clean, padded work area for reassembly Align the factory grille shutters over the back of the E&G Classic grille, making sure the shutters align with the studs on the filler panel. Install the supplied black nylon washers and #8-32 s.s. hex nuts and tighten. 38. Install the supplied #8 x 1 black truss head screws across the top edge of the grille shutters. Tighten until the shutters are snug against the back of the Classic grille. Use of a high quality sealer on the screw threads is a must to prevent future rust problems Reinstall the factory styrofoam bumper filler and clips. Reinstall the factory wire harness across the back of the bumper cover, reconnecting the air flow shutter actuator (if equipped). 40. Have an assistant help you realign the bumper cover back onto the vehicle, making sure you reconnect the electrical connector on the driver side. Reverse the removal procedure to secure.

8 Align the supplied shims between the bumper cover and the support for proper bumper cover alignment with the hood. Reinstall the factory 10mm hex nead bolts to secure the top of the bumper cover. 42. Cut out the supplied template on the last page of this instruction manual and tape it onto the sides of the front license plate bracket along the inside edge and mark both sides of the bracket with a grease pencil. Trim up to the grease pencil lines using a disc grinder or similar tool, then wipe off the grease pencil marks. Install the trimmed front license plate bracket (if originally equipped) using the supplied 1/4 x 1 slotted hex bolts. For E&G Product Returns: Please contact the authorized E&G Dealer where you purchased our product from in regards to any workmanship or warranty claims. All items returned to E&G must have a return authorization number issued by us for inspection or a defective product and or warranty issue. All merchandise sent back to E&G without proper paperwork or authorization will be rejected and returned. Finished installation.
