Their luminous sides help create bright, cheerful spaces and produce higher levels of vertical illumination. Now Kenall brings you a wraparound luminaire that also provides an exceptional level of environmental performance EnviroSeal. EnviroSeal is a family of ceiling and wall-mounted wraparounds in versions specifically designed for four different types of environmentally demanding applications: ES Series Environmental HES Series Hazardous FES Series Food Processing TES Series Transportation EnviroSeal luminaires are UL/CUL Wet Location listed, making them ideal for both interior and exterior use. The high impact resistant polycarbonate or DR acrylic lens contribute to EnviroSeal's industry-leading durability. Plus, EnviroSeal luminaires with polycarbonate lenses are backed by our exclusive Peace of Mind Guarantee against breakage. Lamping options include T5, T5HO, T8, T8HO, biaxial fluorescent, and LED. Environmental: EnviroSeal ES Series Environmental luminaires are perfect for academic, institutional and other applications where luminaires are subject to physical abuse or corrosion. These tough luminaires feature one-piece seam-welded housings with extruded polycarbonate or DR acrylic high impact-resistant lenses, and tamper-resistant fasteners. It's a design that surpasses all similar products ability to withstand vandalism and corrosive conditions such as coastal or chemical applications. The optional UL certification provides ingress protection against dust and water. Hazardous Location: Many industrial and scientific facilities store chemicals and other volatile materials that pose a danger of combustion. EnviroSeal HES Series Hazardous Location luminaires feature high limit T-Ratings (please see page 27), are classified for use in NEC Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D areas, and are optionally available with the rating. Food Processing: Food processing areas require luminaires that resist contamination, are easy to clean, contain no toxic materials, resist corrosion, and prevent leakage into the luminaire. That s why the FES Series EnviroSeal luminaires feature stainless steel housings and fittings, antimicrobial finishes, and debris- and moisture-tight construction. 4 Enviroseal FEATURES: ES Series environmental, FES Series FOOD PROCESSING, AND HES SEries HAZARDOUS One-piece housing/endcap is heavy-gauge, seam-welded cold rolled steel. For even greater corrosion resistance, a Type 304 or 316 stainless steel housing is available with a Type 4B post-fabricated brushed finish. High impact extruded DR acrylic or polycarbonate lens with internal linear prisms and smooth exterior ensures ease of cleanability. With the option, a proprietary gasket-to-gasket system secures the lens-to-housing seal. option provided with gasketed removable endcaps to ensure ingress protection against dust and water. Shock-resistant sockets with internal locking collar ensure positive lamp retention. Silicone pad gasket on endcaps seals lens. Energy-efficient lenses, lamps and ballasts translate to fewer fixtures, resulting in lower installation, system and utility costs while extending lamp life. Slide-in-place and lock lens secures seal and allows ease of installation. 5 Enviroseal FEATURES: ES Series, FES Series, HES SEries Four Profiles EnviroSeal luminaires are available in a variety of sizes and lamp configurations offering a selection of luminaires that are suitable for an array of applications. Included are four widths: 3" one lamp 5" one or two lamps 8" two lamps 12" two, three, or four lamps Available lengths include 2', 3', 4', 6', and 8' (tandem). Continuous Row mount Whereas traditional removable endcap designs require joiner bands for continuous row mounting, the integral endcaps of the ES Environmental, FES Food Processing and HES Hazardous Series EnviroSeals accommodate this desirable ability (not suitable for luminaires with the option, except in tandem applications). When specified with the KO option, an.875" diameter knockout is provided. A simpe hub connector (HC option) quickly and easily joins luminaires. Perfect for walkways, corridors, and locker rooms, EnviroSeal is the best choice for a variety of continuous row-mount applications. pendant mounting The pendant mount option (PM Option) is available with 3" and 5" wide luminaires in the ES Series Environmental, FES Series Food Processing, and HES Hazardous Series. When specified, the option provides two 7/8-inch diameter openings for attachment of conduit pendants (hardware by others). EnviroSeal Hazardous Series luminaires are also supplied with a steel plate to accommodate threaded piping. Pendant mounted EnviroSeal luminaires are ideal for industrial locations where high ceilings are common. Slide-IN-place AND lock lens The standard EnviroSeal luminaire with integral endcaps features an uniquely designed slide-in-place and lock lens for easy lens installation and access to lamps. To install, angle one end of the lens into the housing and lens channel. Press the lens into the lens channel, squeeze the lens in the middle, and slide lens into place, centered in the luminaire. Install the retention fastener to secure the lens. To relamp, simply remove the retention fastener, slide lens toward endcap, and remove. Luminaires with the option require simple removal of the endcaps for quick relamping. 5

6 TES Series luxtran TRANSPORTATION Enviroseal Features Housing and baseplate are heavy-gauge, type 304 or 316 stainless steel with post-fabricated Type 4B brushed finish. Continuous 1" open leaf stainless steel hinge supports lens housing for easy relamping in the field. Triple silicone gasketing system at the hinge ensures the debris- and water-tight seal. Raceway allows ease of through-wiring. TES Series GASKETING Internal locking socket collar keeps lamps secure and operating properly even in high-vibration applications such as train stations, passenger platforms and other transportation facilities. 7 TES Series luxtran TRANSPORTATION Enviroseal Features TWO Profiles TES Series EnviroSeal luminaires are available in a variety of sizes and lamp configurations offering a selection of luminaires that are suitable for an array of applications. FasDraw lens closure SYSTEM Kenall's proprietary FasDraw internal fastening system ensures that the TES EnviroSeal seals easily without the need for unsightly external latches. As the fastener is driven into the housing, it applies tension to the flange and draws the lens housing securely against the baseplate, allowing hosedown listing. lens housing The TES Series EnviroSeal lens housing is secured to the baseplate with a gasketed, piano-type hinge that runs the length of the lens. The hinge supports the lens housing for easy relamping and low maintenance. The lens housing is secured with captive Torx fasteners. WIRING RACEWAY and Continuous Row mount The baseplate of the TES Series features a raceway for ease of through-wiring, and provides a convenient way to accommodate continuous row applications. The standard.875" diameter knockouts on either end of the baseplate allow the luminaires to be joined simply with a simple hub connector (HC option). 7

The Sheriff is UL/CUL Wet Listed for covered ceiling mount and Damp Listed for wall mount. An optional stainless steel version is ideal for Transportation applications. RANGER ROUGH SERVICE WRAPAROUND Its high-impact acrylic lens makes the Ranger suitable for areas that are occasionally subject to rough treatment and maintenance damage, such as this covered walkway at a public high school, as well as dorm rooms and stairwells. The Ranger is UL/CUL Damp Location Listed (wall and ceiling mount), and is available in a Wet Location Listed version for covered ceiling applications.
