4 Description In this document you will find the formulas for calculations of some dimensions e.g.: Top of frame to ground at centre line of front axle at chassis weight Top of frame to ground at centre line of front axle at max axle weight Top of cab roof to ground at chassis weight. The formulas for the calculations are divided in a front and a rear part and by configuration and suspension. The tables are valid for P-, G- and R-series and are presented on the same page as the formulas for the calculations of the chassis dimensions. The height calculation is a preliminary attempt to foresee the height. There are many factors that affect the height. The tolerance in the calculation is approximately +/-25 mm if the appropriate weights are used. When applicable the BEP-codes according to standard ISO :2006 are given in addition with the Scania names. If nothing else is stated mm and kg should be used as units in the calculations. 4
