Transcription

1 BEP (Bodywork Exchange Parameter) are codes that identify unique targets on the vehicle to make information transfer between the vehicle manufacturer and bodybuilder simpler. The BEP codes follow the international standard ISO BEP codes The table explains the dimensions for chassis from the P, G and R series. A L011 Axle distance. Distance from the centreline of the first front axle to the centreline of the first driving rear axle. AF L030.n.A Length of the compressed air tank. AG L031.n.A.L Distance between the centreline of the first front axle and a point at the very rear of the compressed air tank when located on the left-hand side. Applies to the configurations 8x2, 8x4 and 8x2 * 6. AL L030.n.A.L Distance between the centreline of the first driving rear axle and a point at the very front of the compressed air tank when located on the left-hand side. AR L030.n.A.R Distance between the centreline of the first driving rear axle and a point at the very front of the compressed air tank when located on the right-hand side. AS L031.n.A Distance between the centreline of the first driving rear axle and a point at the very rear of the compressed air tank when located on the inside of the frame. AT L015 Theoretical axle distance. Distance between the front and rear pressure distribution centre. B L012.2 Bogie spacing. B L012.3 Bogie spacing. BA L036.2 Distance between the centreline of the first front axle and crossmember or chassis component. BB L036.3 Distance between the centreline of the first front axle and crossmember or chassis component. BC L036.4 Distance between the centreline of the first front axle and crossmember or chassis component. CI L061 Distance between the first front axle centreline and the farthermost point on cab in tilted position. CM H062 Radius for cab tilting. Radius between a theoretical point around which the cab moves while tilting (TTC) and the highest point on the cab during tilting. CO Distance between the top edge of the frame and the highest point on the cab during tilting. CP L062 Distance between the centreline of the first front axle and a theoretical point around which the cab moves during tilting (TTC). CR H060 Distance between the top edge of the frame and a theoretical point around which the cab moves during tilting (TTC). CX Distance between the highest point on the cab and the highest point on the air deflector. CZ Distance between the highest point on the cab and the highest point on the roof hatch in the open position. D Tyre diameter, unloaded. DKU The towing unit's protruding part. Distance between the back of the towing unit's coupling mouth and the inside of the draw beam at the towing unit attachment. DX Dimensions of rear edge's protective plate (applies to tractors with rear edge protective plate). E H042.2 Distance between top edge of frame and top edge of tyre on the second front axle (8x2, 8x4 and 8x2 * 6). Applies to parallel maximum suspension compression. EH H030.1 Distance between top edge of frame and top edge of exhaust pipe (applies to vehicles with vertical exhaust pipe). EX L064.n Distance between the first front axle centreline and a point at the very rear on the exhaust pipe (applies to vehicles with vertical exhaust pipe). F Distance between top edge of frame and top edge of tyre on the second front axle (8x2, 8x4 and 8x2 * 6). Applies to parallel maximum suspension compression. FA Frame bend angle. HR L039.R.n Distance between the first driving rear axle centreline and the base hole for the body adaptation bracket on the right-hand side (applies to trucks with hole patterns for standard holes and special holes for bodywork). I L016 Front overhang. Distance between the centreline of the first front axle and the frontmost part of the bumper. J L019 Rear overhang. Distance between the centreline of the rear axle (or tag axle) and the rear edge of the frame. JA L020 Distance between the centreline of the first driving rear axle and the rear edge of the frame. JB Distance between the centreline of the first driving rear axle and the rear edge of the bodywork. JC Distance between the inside of the draw beam at the trailer coupling attachment and the centre of the tow pin. JE Distance between the centre of the first driving rear axle and the centre of the draw beam's front securing hole. JEc Distance between the centre of the first driving rear axle and the centre of the draw beam's front fixing hole (applies to close-coupled trailers). JF Distance between the centre of tow pin and the rear edge of the bodywork. JFc Distance between centre of the tow pin and the rear edge of the bodywork (applies to close-coupled trailers). JG Distance between rear edge of the frame and the rear edge of the bodywork. In certain cases, single-mounted wheels on tag axle behind the rear axle may exceed this measurement. Ucc Distance between top edge of frame and ground at lowest point of front underrun protection. At front chassis weight point, excluding axle weight. Um H036 U at maximum front axle weight. USP H030 Distance between highest point on shock absorber bracket on second front axle and top edge of frame (8x2, 8x4 and 8x2 * 6). V Distance between top edge of frame and ground at rear pressure distribution centre. Vc V at rear chassis weight point. Vm V at maximum rear axle weight W W002 Cab width excluding mirrors. Vm H038 V at maximum rear axle weight WM W001 Cab width including exterior mirrors. X Distance between top edge of frame and top edge of tyre on first driving rear axle. Applies to maximum load on axle. XX Distance between top edge of frame and top edge of tyre with raised tag axle. YA H042.n Distance between top edge of frame and top edge of tyre on first driving rear axle. Applies to maximum parallel suspension compression.
