4 Page 4 of 5 WIRING DIAGRAM #1 INSTALLATION STEPS: 1) Flash the interface module with the firmware matching the vehicle. NOTE: idatalink 2-way protocol is recommended for full functionality. 2) Connect the harness to the vehicle and remote start as shown in the diagram below. 3) Connect the RED to constant 12V. 4) Connect YELLOW & VIOLET wires (see bypass module install guide for instructions). Cut and insulate the YELLOW wire in connector B as shown. 5) EXTERNAL MODULE ONLY: Connect the PINK of the OL-HRN-RS-CH5(A) harness to the PINK of the harness. 6) EXTERNAL MODULE ONLY: Select Data mode (see module install guide for instructions) 7) Program the interface module to the vehicle (see module install guide for instructions) 8) EXCALIBUR 70 SERIES ONLY: Perform Vehicle Learn to quickly configure the remote start to match the vehicle. 9) Test the system for all desired functions. NOTE: Any features NOT supported by the interface module must be hard wired from the remote start to the vehicle. Refer to the remote start install guide and vehicle wiring info at (only available for authorized dealers) for instructions.
