If the vehicle already has keys, it will be impossible to learn the transponder unless a new Immobilizer module is installed in the vehicle and to recognize the vehicle ID by the new car dealer. WItHoUt oem keyfob Open driver s door window. Close hood and trunk/hatch. Close all doors. LOCK x Press LOCK twice on OEM fob. LOCK x LOCK driver s door twice using OEM key. Wait 0 seconds. Wait 0 seconds. Open driver s door. Open driver s door using handle located inside vehicle. Alarm goes on, OEM alarm equipped vehicle. Alarm goes on, OEM alarm equipped vehicle. AntennA installation noticeinstructions Wrap the loop tightly around the key cylinder to times. Connect antenna to the blue connector on the module. Slide the plastic retainer up towards the cylinder to tighten the noose. keep transponder away from any Metal SoUrce or WIrInG. It is preferable to place the antenna loop on top or in front of the OEM immobilizer coil. Automotive Data Solutions Inc. 00

Look for a circular red indicator in the cluster or a red led on top of the dashboard. Unplug all connectors from transponder unit. MAKE SURE THE TRANSPONDER LOOP IS NOT WRAPPED AROUND THE IMMOBILIZER ANTENNA DURING THIS PROCEDURE. Ready for Transponder Programming Procedure. NOTE I II A five () second delay between each step is permitted. If the delay is exceeded, the vehicle will not allow programming to continue. To complete this procedure, both keys are required. transponder ProGraMMInG ProceDUre - regular GraY keys OFF Security light will turn ON then OFF (may take up to seconds). Wait seconds until security light flashes. A warning chime will also be heard. Turn key to OFF position. Remove key. Insert key into key slot. Hold transponder unit next to key slot andpower the main ignition using a 0 Amp fused test lead. INSERT ON OFF Turn key to ON position. Security light will turn ON. Wait for security light to turn OFF (may take up to seconds). Turn key to OFF position. Remove key. 0 AMPS IGNITION (Note: If you encounter power loss during this step, you will need to exit learning mode and restart transponder programming from step. The security light will start flashing, indicating you are now in programming mode. DO NOT INTERRUPT IGNITION until the security light stops flashing. The security light will turn on solid and then turn off. The chime will be heard once again. Insert key into key slot. 0 Transponder Programming Procedure completed. PRESS AND HOLD programming button until LED turns solid GREEN to register selection. Remote Starter Remote Starter x Data Mode x Standard Mode LED flashes once LED flashes twice! After registration, follow Factory Reset Procedure to change installation mode and restart this procedure. MODULe PrOgrAMMing PrOCeDUre Insert key into ignition. Wait, LED will turn solid GREEN for seconds. INSERT ON Turn key to ON position. OFF Turn key to OFF position. Module Programming Procedure completed. Automotive Data Solutions Inc. 00

FACtOry reset PrOCeDUre DISCONNECT all connectors from module EXCEPT the black -PIN standard or optional data connector. DISCONNECT black -PIN standard or optional data connector. LED will turn solid red for seconds. RESET COMPLETED. RECONNECT all connectors. PRESS AND HOLD programming button while connecting either -PIN standard or optional data connector. Repeat programming procedure. When LED flashes red, RELEASE programming button.! Failure to follow procedure may result with a DTC or a CHECK ENGINE error message. Automotive Data Solutions Inc. 00
