In order to protect your investment in new car purchase and keep a good condition and optimum performance of your new car in future use, please read this manual carefully because it will help you better understand and use Geely car, introduce to you the basic solution in case of problems, and effectively maintain your rights and interests. The Vehicle Owner s Manual supplied with the car also includes a great number of important descriptions on use and maintenance, and we suggest that you could read them carefully. The car you are driving is of superior safety, comfort, power and economy. If you find some problems during your using, please contact the nearby service station authorized by Geely International Corporation. The service station will provide knight service in warranty, maintenance and spare parts. Make sure you finish the maintenance on schedule specified in the owner s manual and the maintenance regulation. Please use the gasoline, oil, brake fluid and anti-freezer in strict accordance with the recommendation of this manual, otherwise it may damage your car. Only the spare parts recommended by the service stations authorized by Geely International Corporation can extend the life-span of your car. Here, we d like to request your particular attention to the fact that Geely only supply the original spare parts to the service stations, therefore, you can only acquire the genuine spare parts from the service stations authorized by Geely International Corporation. With this manual, your car will enjoy a warranty of 36 months/100,000 km, (whichever occurs first since the day of car purchase). Also, when your car has been driven for less than 3 months or the mileage falls within 5000 kilometers (whichever occurs first), please go to the nearby Geely international service stations for initial maintenance service with this manual. Correct regular maintenance will help keep your car in optimum conditions and improve the reliability and
4 2 lifespan. Hence, within the warranty term, make sure you drive to the Geely service station for regular maintenance every 5000km or within 6 months upon last maintenance. All information in this manual are up to date and will be subject to change without prior notice. 6 Importance of the Warranty and Maintenance Manual 4 Based on the related data recorded in this manual, Geely International Corporation and its affiliated service stations are able to have clear visibility in the car purchase date and car conditions and confirm the starting date of the warranty. Based on the related data recorded in this manual, Geely International Corporation and its affiliated service stations can provide you with spare parts applicable to your car and corresponding maintenance services. In order to keep your car always in good conditions, this manual specifies the maintenance period and maintenance items for Geely cars, please make sure that you will go to the Geely International service stations for the specified maintenance of your car and the service station personnel will make records for the maintenance process. It is required to prove that your car has been maintained based on the requirements of this manual. In case of problems of your car, the maintenance certification in this manual will be one of the bases for our company to confirm the claim. Based on the above significance described in this manual, please make sure this manual is properly kept. Loss of this manual or failure in maintaining the car in accordance with the related rules and regulations will be regarded as abandonment of the warranty of your car. In addition, if you transfer your car to another one, please make sure this manual is also handed over the new owner together with the car.
7 Vehicle Warranty 5 I. Warranty Scope The vehicle enjoys a warranty of 36 months or 100,000km (whichever occurs first). The Warranty Policy takes effect from the date of car purchase. Use and maintain the car based on the rules of the warranty and maintenance manual as well as owner s manual. Quality defect or damage arising from the design, manufacture, assembly and raw material defects. Parts replacement or maintenance during the warranty term. The warranty term of the vehicle or parts can not be extended. Warranty requested by the user, the damaged parts shall be protected and the user is required to explain the facts. The proprietary right of the warranted old parts shall be owned by Geely International Corporation. warranty scope. Within the warranty term, the user goes by himself/herself to other service stations not authorized by Geely International Corporation for maintenance of his/her car. Failure in using, maintaining, repairing the car based on the requirements in the warranty and maintenance manual as well as owner s manual, e.g. operating conditions go beyond the specified range, over-speed and overload Damaged car arising from the use of fuel failing in meeting the requirement or of bad quality. Damage caused by the traffic accidents due to reasons other than quality problem. Damaged car due to discretional change, modification, removal of the parts in the car. II. Non-warranty Scope Non-conformance to any of the articles within the above

Damage enlarged due to discretional disposal after the problem occurs without the approval of Geely International service station. The user makes a discretional change on the reading of the odometer, leading to the failure in verifying the mileage. Damage due to force majeure. Car damage due to incorrect operation or misuse (e.g. racing, testing). Normal maintenance (regular maintenance), inspection and adjustment (four-wheel alignment, tire dynamic balance, fuel consumption etc.). Normal wear of damageable parts (friction plate, belt, spark plug, tire etc.). Indirect loss (parking fee, travel expense, room and board fee, and charge for loss of working time). 6

10 Vehicle Warranty 8 1. make sure you go to the Geely international service station for initial maintenance with the warranty and maintenance manual, car purchase invoice (copy) and set up user file to obtain the warranty qualification. 2. In case of car problems occurring within the warranty term, please go to the Geely international service station for warranty service with the maintenance manual, drive license or car purchase invoice (copy). 3. After the warranty service is completed, please sign the corresponding record.
11 Spare Parts Warranty 9 Spare Parts Warranty Period Spare parts without warranty Spare parts with 3months/5,000km warranty(whichever occurs first) Warranty Items Bulbs, fuses, filters ( air filter, fuel filter, oil filter), spark plugs, any glasses of the vehicle horns, wiper blades, tyre, shock absorbers, brake disc, brake shoe, door glass regulator and motor. Spare parts with 12months/20, 000km not-mentioned spare parts warranty (whichever occurs first). Remark: In the period of Spare parts warranty, if the part replaced again because of the manufacturing defect, the warranty period should not exceed the stated time or mileage limit of the first one.
12 Spare Parts Warranty The spare part submitted must be purchased by customer from GEELY authorized service station, and be equipped on the customer s vehicle. 2. Damage or invalidation as a result of raw material and manufacturing defects or design defects. 3. Non-warranty Scope a. Normal wear and tear; b. Not genuine GEELY spare parts; c. Damage due to incorrect operation or misuse; d. The vehicle was not repaired and maintained in GEELY authorized service station; e. Damage enlarged due to discretional disposition after the problem occurs without the content of GIC service station; f. No effective invoice and warranty voucher, and failure in proving that the car is within the warranty term; g. Damage due to incorrect assemble and fix in the service station; h. Damage due to force majeure or nature disaster; i. Indirect expenses of the spare part damage (e.g. parking fee, travel expense, charge for loss of working time); j. Unauthorized modification of the vehicle or parts; k. All parts fitted during warranty repair are covered of the balance of the original warranty period, and the period will end with the ending of the vehicle warranty period.
