Check operation of the following: a. Starter b. Sound of engine - noise, knock, miss, squeal, etc c. All instruments d. Heater/Air conditioner e. Windshield wiper and washer f. All interior lights g. Turn signals, stop lamps h. Headlights, clearance lights i. All warning devices - stop sign, warning lights, horn j. Maximum air system pressure ( psi) k. Door controls Check clutch pedal clearance, if applicable Depress brake pedal (check for leaks while depressed) Check operation of parking/spring brakes Inspect seat backs and cushions for cuts, rips Check condition of all rear view mirrors Move bus to ready line. En route, check operation of brakes and steering Check to make sure all exterior doors are locked securely Inspect driver's seat belt for condition and operation Page 1

Check steering linkage for lost motion Check King Pins Inspect front springs for broken leaves Loose U-Bolts Hangers/Shackles Adjust front brakes Grease brake mechanism Check lining wear Inspect steering gear box mounting for security Inspect wheel/rim lug nuts for security Inspect wheels/rims for cracks, slipping Inspect tires for cuts, tread depth, wear Inflate tires to recommended pressure Inspect body mounting bolts and clips for security Consult repair order for following: a. Change engine oil Renew oil filters b. Replace fuel filters Water filter Start engine. Check filters for leaks Engine idling - check automatic transmission fluid level Page 4

7 Preventive Maintenance Inspection #2 45,000 Miles, 75,000 Km - Annual Unit Number Mileage Repair Order # Date/Time Location 3 = X = Attention Required R = Repair A/R = As Required 1. Steam clean engine compartment, if necessary Perform #1 Inspection Inspect hoses for deterioration - replace as required Check condition of antifreeze - replace as required - set for F (-29 0 C) Check shutters for opening and closing fully, if so equipped Service shutter system filter, if so equipped Clean front of radiator (mud, dirt, debris) Remove covers, all heaters - clean cores, clean filters Check operation of all heater motors, defrosters Renew power steering filter in reservoir Renew water filter, if not done previously Check operation - block/oil heaters, if applicable Check operation of ether start device Tighten all hose clamps - air intake system Air cleaner element - replace if no restriction gauge Check operation of restriction indicator, remove and test operation Service crankcase breathers Check exhaust system for leaks, security Adjust valves, injectors, rack (as required by engine mfg. specifications.) Check operation of engine protection system Test batteries for full charge Clean batteries and battery box Test alternator regulator setting - 14 to (Must be checked with a fully charged battery) 24. Remove starter - inspect brushes (at 90,000 mile intervals) Clean dust from magnetic switch, lever end. 25. Remove backing plates, rear brakes. Inspect linings. (Replace if less than 1/4") Inspect slack adjusters for worn splines. Remove plug and grease all 4, if sealed type Tighten rear U-bolts Tighten front U-bolts Page 6

Replace if within 1/8" of rivet head Clean and repack bearings, if not oil lubricated Drain and refill differential-gl 5 SAE 80W-140. Check lube for metal, chips, etc Drain and refill manual transmission - Check lube for contaminants Lubricate shift lever box, manual transmission Drain automatic transmission - drop pan. Replace internal filter Renew transmission filter Refill with ATF Dexron 111 or equal Check operation of air dryer - renew filter or desiccant, if so equipped Inspect rubber seals on emergency exits Lubricate all access and emergency door hinges Inspect all windows for proper latching Mechanic's Signature Comments: Page 7
