2 NOT ON INVENTORY OBJECTIVE PIODISP The Tanker Offload System P17100 consists of a Mod 6 hydraulic power unit with a machinery containment pool, a spare part kit for the hydraulic power unit, two hydraulic hose reels, and two ancillary sets, one ancillary set is packaged in four containers for ease of shipment and handling and includes a submersible 6-inch hydraulic pump, discharge hoses, a hydraulic flow control block, a hydraulic winch, a tripod, a tool box, a machinery containment pool for the flow control block, snatch blocks, clamps, a handtruck, and the necessary supporting ancillary equipment to operate and maintain the 6-inch hydraulic pump, and a second ancillary set packaged in one wire basket that serves as a storage/shipping container and contains a DOP-250 Heavy Oil Transfer pump, a hydraulic flowmeter and control block for the heavy oil transfer pump, and two machinery containment pools The system is designed to move highly viscous products at high discharge pressures from casualty vessels. It also aids in moving ballast water, offloading skimmer sumps, and in the recovery of viscous products that have escaped stricken vessels. 16 ESSM - PU0283 HOSE REEL ASSEMBLY (POL) Hydraulic Hose Reel Assembly PU0283 The Hydraulic Hose Reel Assembly PU0283 consists of two 100-foot sections of 1-inch supply and two 100-foot sections of 1-inch return hose with quick disconnect fittings reeled onto a flanged spool. The spool is mounted on a steel frame which has forklift slots for transporting. There is a single lift point for connecting a sling to lift the assembly. The hoses on the hose reel assembly transfer hydraulic power from the hydraulic power unit to the hydraulically driven POL pump. 18 ESSM - PU0284 TRIPOD (POL) Tripod PU0284 The Tripod PU0284 is an adjustable three-legged stand that is set above the tank or compartment to be pumped. A snatch block is attached to the top of the tripod and a winch with cable is attached to one leg of the tripod. The cable from the winch is passed through the snatch block and attached to the lifting bracket for the offloading pump.
