3 ESSM - CP2079A Portable Hydraulic 18-Inch Capstan CP2079A The Portable Hydraulic 18-Inch Capstan CP2079A has an 18-inch diameter vertical capstan head which rotates in forward or reverse directions. The base of the capstan includes forklift slots for moving or positioning the capstan. The capstan can be bolted to a sacrificial plate for welding onto a deck. The capstan control stand contains valves to operate the capstan in the forward and reverse directions and is designed to allow the operator to maintain an adequate distance from hazardous line "snap back", and maintain constant observation of the unit. The control stand is attached to the capstan for shipping and storage. The capstan is equipped with hydraulic supply, return, case drain, and brake hoses used for connecting the capstan to the control stand and a hydraulic power unit. 14 The Mod 9 Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) PW0020 is a portable, diesel driven unit that provides hydraulic fluid up to psi. An adjustable pressure relief valve controls the output pressure delivered to the supply circuit. The HPU is mounted on a wheeled frame and is enclosed in a protective steel housing with four sling points on the external steel tubing frame. Hydraulic connections are made via Aeroquip 5600, -12 series male and female quick disconnect fittings for the hydraulic supply and return, with a 3/8-inch case drain fitting. The unit is shipped with the exhaust muffler attached to the side of the HPU housing, and the muffler is installed prior to operation of the unit. 16 ESSM - PW0012 HYDRAULIC POWER UNIT, HT20DQP, PSI Hydraulic Power Unit PW0012 The PW0012 supplies hydraulic power to the Underwater Hydraulic Tool System S The portable hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) is capable of producing hydraulic power output of 13 gpm at 2400 psi. The unit is mounted on an aluminum tube base frame with welded aluminum fork slots and has a center located lifting point. The HPU is fully enclosed for sound attenuation, with the enclosure being resistant to water penetration. The unit is suitable for operation in harsh marine environments and was designed for reliability, adaptability, compactness, and ease of maintenance. The hydraulic power unit is powered by a 22-horsepower liquid cooled mini engine with a residential muffler. The HPU is housed in a wheel barrow style rolling frame mounted with aluminum main frame, with a carbon steel 9-gallon hydraulic reservoir and carbon steel 9-gallon fuel cell, with a gear type hydraulic pump, and hydraulic oil cooler.
