Our purpose 4 We move the world forward every day by delivering meaningful information to our customers that creates safer roads, a cleaner planet and improved efficiencies.
Food for thought 5 According to trafficsafety.org, the most dangerous part of the day for any employee is the time they spend in their vehicle, with a crash occurring every 5 seconds, property damage occurring every 7 seconds, an injury occurring every 10 seconds, and a motor vehicle fatality occurring every 12 minutes. Engagement can mean different things to different people, but it generally entails trust, respect, acknowledgement and a sense of belonging. An engaged driver will be more efficient, effective, productive and safe. Most of all, they will be loyal and dedicated.

Are we doing all we can? Reasons Telematics are adopted: 7 Efficiency Safety Compliance Security Fuel savings Enhanced service Utilisation Real-time driver feedback Fewer accidents Driver scoring Compliance monitoring Hours of Service Fuel tax reporting Vehicle tracking Crash notification Vehicle theft recovery
Safety 8 Identifying and correcting poor driver behaviour is the first step to reducing risk and increasing safety levels. Accident prevention & reduction Identify and correct risky driving Monitor drivers in relation to past performance Develop targeted driver training & incentive programmes Driver behaviour improvement In-vehicle system measures driver behaviour Drivers receive simplified feedback in real-time Operators receive info via web & mobile devices Eyes on screen monitoring Workflow approvals & real-time journey monitoring Tracking & monitoring of highvalue and/or high-risk loads Adherence to compliance regulations Reduce accident rates by up to 70% Reduce over-speeding incidents by up to 80% Prevent many unsafe journeys from ever starting
What is IVMS? 9 Vehicle On Board Computer records data and provides audible feedback to driver when the set parameters are exceeded: speed, acceleration, braking. and seatbelts. 2. Data download Vehicle and Driver status data is transmitted every 1 minute in trip and a complete data download is performed via GPRS at the end of the trip.. Fleet Utilization and Driver Behavior Reports Reports are produced and can be accessed by Managers and Supervisors. Driver Identified by driver s Key and allows vehicle to be started. Creates ownership of trip and driving performance. 1.. Feedback and Recognition Feedback sessions are conducted with Red and Amber drivers to improve their behavior and move them into Green.
