2 EquipVille LumiVille InLight Expo th-26th May 2011 GUIDE TO TECHNICAL SERVICES Page 2 / 14 OVERHEAD SUSPENSION OF ITEMS The roof structure of some of Eurexpo s halls is designed for the suspension of signage, light rigs and decorative features. These objects are: Suspended using steel drop wires, linked to the structure joints by steel shackles and ending in a loop. Subject to very strict regulations. Suspended with a horizontal tolerance of 50cm to 1m and vertical tolerance of 10cm depending on the hall and weight of the object. Suspended only by Eurexpo s providers The structures which do not allow suspension are: (instead, we can supply a free-standing support structure): Gallery B Gallery A (over the whole width and 6m of length from the Dome) Gallery C (over the whole width and 8, 50m of length from the Dome) Passages 23, 33b, 45, 46, 67, 78, 6-66 (over 15m of width) The area surrounding the halls over a 3m width. The mobile partition area in HALL 66 and between HALLS 9 and 10, only when partitions are deployed. No material may be attached to decorative cladding halls, or their supports, or grids ceiling passages between halls. As a result of technical restrictions on the use of the framework in certain halls, the height limit for suspension from the roof is: 5m in Halls 3, 33, 5 and 8, From 2m to 5,30m in Gallery A, depending on the location From 3m to 7,70m in Gallery C, depending on the location. GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR PROVIDING SERVICES 1. SALES CONDITIONS This service includes the fitting and removal of drop wires. It does not include the fitting and removal of additional equipment (sign, light rig, lighting etc.) but we would be pleased to give you a quote for any such additional services. The order for suspension services will not be executed until full payment for the services has been received. All services provided are payable in full. Use of the installation cradle is invoiced on an hourly basis with any part of an hour being considered a full hour. Any modification after the initial technical study will give rise to additional study costs. 2. INSTALLATION All suspension services require a prior technical study. After completion of this study, either the Internet order on exhibitors category is validated, or a quote is sent to you and your validation of this quote will be considered as a firm order. If you are looking for a comprehensive, ready-to-use product, lighting and signage kits are available on the order form. These kits include the structural frame, suspension wires, spot lights and electrical wiring but not the power supply box on the floor (to be ordered from the exhibitors' service). Wherever possible, the items supplied by Eurexpo will be installed prior to your arrival. Lighting appliances supplied by Eurexpo can be adjusted as soon as the exhibited equipment has been set up. Please note that it is not possible to install display portals or signs above the aisles between two stands. 3. TECHNICAL WORK During the equipment set-up period before the exhibition, any request for modifications can be considered only after checking the feasibility and after receipt of full payment for the new quote submitted. Any request for services during the exhibition must be made directly to the suspension sling department of the exhibition centre and, subject to their feasibility, these services will be carried out in the evening after the exhibition closes its doors to the public or in the morning before the doors open.

(Article T35, chapter VIII of the Safety Regulations concerning risks of fire or panic in public buildings decree dated 25/06/1980). CHECK THE STAND SPECIFICATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Check whether the supply of electricity is included in the description of your stand. 2. Depending on the equipment you are using (track with spotlights, machines, computers, etc.), establish the power you require in kw. 3. Choose the time periods when you require the connection to be activated: a) Intermittently (only during exhibition opening times) b) Permanently (24 hours a day) 4. Check the prices indicated on the order form at the end of this document. This service includes: connection to the terminal, the electrical cable, the socket and installation at the required location. Please send a drawing showing the exact position of the socket(s). Distribution cabinet including: - 6 sockets 2 x 10 A + T - 2 sockets P17 3 x 16 A + N + T - 1 socket 413 type 2 x 16 A + N + T CONNECTIONS Connections packages are available to make the electrical distribution (after the electrical box). You can also rent a distribution cabinet and make the electrical distribution of your equipment by yourself. MACHINE START-UP To enable connection of machines which need a starting current over 30mA but under 300 ma, you can order a machine startup in addition to your main power supply. OUTDOOR ELECTRICAL CONNECTION Eurexpo can provide an outdoor electrical connection for a vehicle or container requiring electricity. Contact the Exhibitors' Department for an estimate. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS Whatever your needs, from energy supply to the complete wiring of your installation, we have the right solution. Contact Exhibitors Services for a cost estimate. Important: - Installation of a false floor to hide and protect the supply and disposal pipes is strongly recommended. - Certain stand locations in Hall 8 and Galleries A, B and C cannot be fitted with water supply and disposal pipes. This service includes a basic package of 700 calling units. You will receive a free analogue phone with every telephone line subscription (to be collected from the Exhibitors Welcome Office during build-up time). If you exceed this quantity, you can order a «top -up» package at the Exhibitors Reception Area. ADDITIONAL SERVICES Rental of fax / copier B & W, including the phone line with 700 calling unit package Rented equipment is delivered to the stand on the day before the exhibition opens, in return for a deposit of 600 for the fax. It is your responsibility to provide a stand plan / diagram indicating the position of your ordered services, including details of neighbouring stands and aisles, and stand measurements. Please instruct your contractors to route the cabling through any stand construction (and carpet) to the final service location. INTERNET CONNECTIONS Our standard Internet connections provide a guaranteed symmetrical bandwidth of 512 kbps or 1Mbps (DHCP connexion). If you require a public IP address, please select the option in the order form. It is your responsibility to provide a stand plan / diagram indicating the position of your ordered services, including details of neighbouring stands and aisles, and stand measurements. Please instruct your contractors to route the cabling through any stand construction (and carpet) to the final service location. Important: Exhibitors own wireless networks are not permitted due to the interference they cause. Please contact us to discuss any specific requirements using our wireless network WIRELESS INTERNET CONNECTIONS Individual wireless connections, 256 kbps bandwidth unsecured. Wifi connections can be used anywhere within the exhibition. Each computer must have its own individual access. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS Please contact the Exhibitors' Department for a detailed study of any specific Internet requirements. Telephone and Internet cables are usually installed before build-up. 10 EquipVille LumiVille InLight Expo th-26th May 2011 GUIDE TO TECHNICAL SERVICES Page 10 / 14 WASTE DISPOSAL After dismantling their stands, all exhibitors are required to clear their area of any refuse or expendable fittings (carpet, wood panels, leaflets, adhesive tape, etc.). In accordance with government act of 12 th July 1992, exhibitors are personally responsible for their waste and their subcontractors waste, for its removal from site to a destination that complies with current regulations covering the environment and waste sorting. 30 m 3 skip rental available on request. Please contact Exhibitors Services for a cost estimate. PARKING CARDS DEADLINE FOR POSTAGE 22 nd April One parking card is included in your subscription s fees. This card will not be sent. Parking cards, for which a charge is made, are required to enter the Eurexpo exhibitors' car park throughout the entire period the exhibition is open to the public. Exhibitors may park close to the exhibition hall entrances. Access to the car park is free during the build-up and break-down periods. SECURITY IN THE EXHIBITORS' CAR PARK Access to the exhibitors' car park is controlled. The exhibitors' car park is not under surveillance. The charge covers parking rights and not security surveillance. Owners leave their vehicles in the park at their own risk. It is strictly forbidden to park vehicles in the priority lanes reserved for the fire and security services. Card holders must comply with Eurexpo regulations, which are displayed on the site. It is strictly forbidden to park heavy goods vehicles around the halls during the period the exhibition is open to the public. You will be guided to a free "HGV" parking area on arrival at the site. Important: No refund will be made for cards that have been ordered but not used. DRINKS The coffee machine is delivered with a kit including 200 capsules of premium blend coffee, 200 x 15cl plastic cups, 200 sachets packets of sugar and 200 stirrers. A refill with 100 units is available. The mini water fountain is delivered with starter kit comprising 2 carboys of 5 litres of water and 100 plastic cups of 15 cl. A refill with 2 carboys of 5 litres of water (and 100 plastic cups). Kit delivered to the stand on the eve of the show opening. You will be asked for a deposit cheque of 500 for coffee machine and 200 for water fountain payable to «Saveur Express O» on delivery ; this will not be cashed unless damages are payable. Important : An electrical socket is needed for this order. Electric consumption: coffee machine = 1, 3 kw and mini water fountain = 200 W. CONDITIONS OF SALE A complete list of services and prices is given on the specific order form for each exhibition. A 30% surcharge will be applied to any order sent after the specific deadline for the exhibition. Orders should be placed on line at the centre's website EXHIBITORS tab. You may also use the Technical Services Order Form appended to this document and return it to us with the corresponding payment in full. Payment must be made on placing orders. No order will be registered if it not accompanied by the corresponding payment. Prices include the cost of installing rented equipment, energy and fluid consumption and assistance-repairs during the entire period the equipment is rented. Any request for modification or cancellation of the order must be made no later than 8 working days before the start of the exhibition and sent in writing to the Exhibitors' Department. Any services provided must be paid in full. 2. LOCATION OF CONNECTIONS Unless you provide specific instructions, connections will be installed by default in the closed corner of the stand, in the middle of the back wall, and in the centre of island stands. We advise you to use the plan on the last page of this document. If you do not have a false floor, cables and pipes will be visible on your stand between the points of connection in the technical ducts and the locations where the equipment is installed. For this reason, it is advisable to situate the connections as near as possible to the technical ducts. Exhibitors are reminded that they are responsible for the installations needed to protect pipes without affecting the appearance of their stand (false floor, cable trays, etc.). Any request to move a connection once it has been installed will be billed at the rates available from the Exhibitors' Reception Area. The connections described in this guide are on the ground and inside the halls. Estimates must be requested for outdoor and mezzanine connections. 3. TECHNICAL WORK Any request for work on site must be made in person at the Exhibitors' Reception Area or by calling +33 ( 0) The centre's technicians are not authorised to work on equipment installed by third parties. 4. REMINDERS A connection may supply only one stand. Exhibitors are responsible for equipment installed on their stands for the entire duration of the exhibition.
