The Fact Book provides national, provincial, population group, and metropolitan group summaries about transit fleet and on-board equipment statistics, as well as individual transit systems fleet operating statistics. It also provides summaries of vehicle age distribution by mode, national bus age distribution, revenue buses by fuel type, and on-board equipment for active vehicles.
