The funcion of each is as follows: , 1. Plug he Diagnosic Module Connecor of he harness ino he Diagnosic Module. 2. Plug he ECU Connecor ino he ECU o be esed Plug he Communicaions Por Connecor ino he communicaions por of he ECU o be esed. 1) RED 2) AMBER 3) GREEN 4) GREEN 5) BLUE 6) BLUE Power Swiched Power o ECU Igniion Rear Igniion Fron Injecion Fron Injecion Rear " ECU "Bench Tess" An ECU can be "bench esed" while eiher insalled in, or removed from a moorcycle. 1. Supply 12V+ (eiher wih a power supply or a baery) wih he Supply Clips aached o he hamess. 2. The Diagnosic Module will rerieve he following informaion from he ECU: Firmware version VIN Serial Number 3. 3 4. Press he UP and DOWN buons o selec a es. 2. Press YES o begin he es. Press STOP o end he es. 3. Afer he es is compleed, he resul ("Pass" or "Fail") will appear briefly on he screen. 4. Afer he es is compleed, he screen will exi back o allow he user o selec anoher es. 5. Press he STOP buon o exi he Manual Tes. 5. Press YES o begin he es. Press STOP o end he es. Auomaic Tes 1. Press he UP or DOWN buons on he keypad unil "Auomaic Tes" is seleced. Manual Tes The following ess are available: Head Temp Sensor Air Temp Sensor TPS Sensor Bra Sensor Baery Sensor Sensor Power Engine RPM Vehicle Speed Fuel Injecors Igniion Drivers Tach Oupu lac Operaion Fuel Pump 1. Press he UP or DOWN buons on he keypad o selec a es funcion. 2. Press YES o begin he es. Press STOP o end he es. 3. Press he UP or DOWN buons on he keypad unil "Rerieve DTC" is seleced. 2. Press he YES buon. Use he UP and DOWN buons o choose beween he following opions:

Press he UP buon o cycle hrough he codes. 7. Codes can be cleared by pressing he YES buon when he following screen is displayed: Monioring ECU Inpus and Oupus The abiliy o monior he ECU inpus and oupus aids in roubleshooing problems wih he EFI sysem in "real ime," wih he engine running or no running. 1. Supply 12V+ (eiher wih a power supply or a baery) wih he Supply Clips aached o he hamess. 2. The Diagnosic Module will rerieve he following informaion from he ECU: Diagnosic Tool Seup for "ECU Monioring" Firmware version VIN Serial Number 3. Afer he informaion is rerieved from he module, he following opions are available: Manual Tes Auomaic Tes Rerieve DTC ECU Monior 4. Press he UP and DOWN buons o selec "ECU Monior"
