4 ECU REMOVAL / INSTALLATION Remove the seat set. Disconnect the ECU 48P connectors. POWER INPUT LINE Connecting the diagnostic tool to the socket of vehicle. Key-on but do not ignition, verify the ECU connected to diagnostic tool. Verify the suitable vehicle type and software version of ECU. Check is any data on the history page. If yes, please erase history data. Ignition and check each value reading in the ECU. DTC can be viewed or erased, restart the engine, the DTC will not display. 1
5 ILT SWITCH INSPECTION Remove the seat set. Turn the ignition switch ON and measure the voltage between the following terminals of the TILT SW sensor connector with the connector connected. Measure the voltage when leaning the sensor. OUTPUT - GND 0 : 0.4~1.4 V 65 : 3.7~4.4 V 2
6 INJECTOR Disconnect the injector 2P connector. Check for loose or poor contact on the injector 2P connector. Disconnect the injector 2P connector and measure the resistance of the injector. Connection: Red (+) - Blue/Green(-) Standard:12.0±0.6 Ω 3
7 ECT SENSOR INSPECTION Disconnect ECT sensor 2P connector. Check for loose or poor contact on the ECT sensor connector. Disconnect the ECT sensor connector. Measure the resistance at ECT sensor terminals. Connection: Standard: TEMPERATURE( ) RESISTANCE VALUES(OHM) TOL. (OHM) ± ± ±20 4
8 CRANK POSITION SENSOR (CPS) Disconnect the crank position sensor 2P connector. Check for loose or poor contact on the crank position sensor 2P connector. The gap between the flywheel and CPS should within 0.7~1.0mm. Measure the resistance between the CPS (Blue Sky Blue)Standard is :115±10 Ω 5
9 FUEL LINE INSPECTION FUEL PUMP INSPECTION Turn the ignition switch ON and confirm that the fuel pump operates for a few seconds. If the fuel pump does not operate, inspect as follow: Disconnect the fuel pump 2P connector. Turn the ignition switch Off and measure the resistance between the terminals. Connection: Gray (+) Black/Purple (-) The standard is 4±1Ω 6
10 Disconnect the pressure regulator output hose and plug the hose. Slowly catch the remaining fuel using an approved gasoline container. Install the 3-way connector and attach the fuel pressure gauge as shown. Connect the battery negative cable. Start the engine. Read the fuel pressure at idle speed. IDLE SPEED: 1500±100 RPM STANDARD:300±10 kpa 7
11 IGNIITION COIL Disconnect the ignition coil 2P connector. Check for loose or poor contact on the ignition coil 2P connector. Check for resistance between the ignition coil connector terminal and ground. Standard: 0.63±0.05Ω 8
12 THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (TPS) Key-On but not ignition. Measure the voltage between as below A-B Input voltage at TPS: 5±0.1V Onput voltage at throttle closed:0.5±0.05v Onput voltage at throttle full open:3.9±0.2v WARNING! Never loosen the screw of TPS, result the unsteady idle. 9
13 IDLE SPEED CONTROLLER (ISC) Disconnect the ignition coil 4P connector. Measure the resistance between A-D and B-C as below The standard are all follow 50±0.5 2Ω. 10
14 TEMP & ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR (T-MAP) Turn the ignition OFF. Disconnect the T-MAP sensor 4P connector. Check for loose or poor contact on the MAP sensor connector. Measure the resistance between as below pin 3-4 The standard are below 11
