16 FSTRCK F31 MULTI-PURPOSE RCKET SYSTEM Legrand This ingenious bracket system can be used in multiple orientations and incorporates a fast-clip fully re-usable mechanism to quickly secure the basket without the need for tools. 68

17 FSTRCK F31 The fast-clip mechanism requires no tools for installation and is fully re-usable. Simply drop the cable tray into the bracket slots and then push in the clip. The tray is then held securely in place by the unique design and firm hold of the fast-clip mechanism To meet the requirements of today s demanding installations, the Fastrack F31 system incorporates a unique multi-orientation bracket that can be mounted horizontally or vertically, allowing the cable tray to sit in or on the bracket and follow its course with no problem To complete the range, a clic rail is also available for installations where a suspended cable tray is required. The bracket uses the same slot design and innovative fast-clip mechanism as the multi-orientation wall bracket, offering speed, simplicity and re-usability 69

23 - technical information Electrical Continuity When properly fixed and jointed, the continuity of Fastrack provides equipotential bonding to earth and for general installations additional earth connectors are not necessary. The pertinent test to confirm this is IEC Section 11.1 The test measures the electrical resistance value at two points along the product as shown below: Within the standard the maximum admissible values are: R1 R2 500mm R1 50 mω R2 5 mω Under test conditions the following results were obtained on a typical length of Fastrack tray with electroplated zinc finish. These results being well below the maximum laid down by IEC 61537: R1 = 8 mω R2 = 2.5 mω In special locations or hazardous areas (as described in S 7671: Section 6) independent earth conductors may be necessary and subject to consideration by a competent electrical engineer. 75
