1 October 2014 Volume 39, Issue 10 It was great to see everyone who was able to attend the Picnic and Swap Meet at Indian Springs State Park on the 20th. Thanks to all who helped to organize and brought, or prepared, food for the Picnic. Also, it was very good to see so many Corvairs at the Picnic. For October Corvair Atlanta does not have a formally scheduled meeting, as this Month Heart of Georgia will again be supporting the Vairs at the Fair Event (at the Georgia State Fair). Paula said I should include some Statistics with this list so it wouldn't be so blaaaaaa, so here goes: I counted: - 14 brown shoes - 10 Black shoes - 56 white shoes - 2 purple shoes - 4 gray shoes - 4 multi-colored shoes - 2 red slippers - 9 flip flops (the other flip flop..?) There were NO injures (not counting Jeannette who brought her own). A great time was had by all, no cops were called and we were not asked to leave the state. These stats were not verified by any accredited body but there were a few good bodies there (Thanks Heidi). Please allow 10 days for delivery, stats may vary by 214% but not more that 372%. All pictures are real and no horses were harmed during filming. The affair was attended by: - 51 Covair folks - 2 dogs - 3 blind mice gnats There were: - 3 different kinds of meat - 2 types of baked beans - 2 varieties of deviled eggs - 4 kinds of chips - 6 different selections of pop /2 desserts (1/2 was eaten on route) We had 12 Corvairs Driven to the event. The youngest there was Mickey. The oldest there was Zelda. The tallest there was Tommy. The shortest there was Judi. 2

Rebuilt original air cooled 6 cylinder 110 engine with 4 speed transmission, dual exhaust, bucket seats, AM/FM/CD Stereo. Factory A/C not working.
