1 KEY RATE DEFINITIONS Seasonal Rate Periods (applicable to all rates) Billing Months are defined as June, July, August, and September. Billing Months are defined as December, January, February, and March. Billing Months are defined as April, May, October, and November. Onpeak and Offpeak hours (only applicable TDGSA, TDMSA, GSB, and MSB rates) Except for Saturdays and Sundays and the weekdays that are observed as Federal holidays for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, and provided further that onpeak hours shall not include hours that fall on November 1 of each year when November 1 falls on any day other than Monday, Onpeak hours for each day shall for purposes of this rate schedule be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern Time during the months of April, May, June, July, August, September and October and from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. Eastern Time during the months of January, February, March, November, and December. For all other hours of each day and all hours of such excepted days shall be offpeak hours. Said onpeak and offpeak hours are subject to change by TVA, after due notice. Onpeak and Maximum Demands (only applicable TDGSA, TDMSA, GSB, and MSB rates) For certain TVA rates, the onpeak demand will be determined in the periods as designated above for onpeak hours. The offpeak demand will be determined in hours outside the onpeak periods. The maximum demand will be the higher of the onpeak demand and the offpeak demand. Reference the detailed rate schedule for more details. Demand Cost Recovery Adjustment (DCRA) - This adjustment applies to residential (rate class 22) and small commercial rates (rate class 40) ONLY. This variable adjustment is applicable to kwh usage based on the prior month s wholesale power rates paid to TVA. The adjustment accounts for changes in peak demand charges which are impacted by weather and customer usage patterns. BrightRidge will use a load factor calculation for the entire system to determine the applicable rate, which may be a charge or a credit. This monthly DCRA rate will be provided on BrightRidge s website. In addition to the base rates listed in this schedule, the TVA Fuel Cost Adjustment (FCA) is applicable. TVA s FCA is provided on a separate schedule as the rate changes each month. BrightRidge will post the monthly TVA FCA schedule each month.
