6 STANDARD AND HEAVY DUTY SERIES Type 255 Construction is of steel throughout. Workmanship and material is of the same high quality as our larger machines. All Bearings are bronze bushings. Flywheel runs on Roller bearings. The clutch which might l::e called the "heart" of the machine is a very modern cushioned type designed and built expressly for these machines. Long life and trouble-free service is built into this rugged yet very simple clutch. All main bearings have Zerk-Alemite lubricating fittings and grease gun is furnished with machines. Gibs are adjustable to take up wear in both directions. Adjustment is in the bed of these presses and die changes can be made very quickly. Operator can sight dies accurately while conveniently making adjustment. The adjustment screws are always in avertical position which is the safest load carrying position. Adjustable bar gauge is standard equipment. Machines are arranged to take front operated gauges and these can be furnished at any time. Compact construction makes installation costs negligible and saves floor space. Machines can be easily moved and set up close to the work when desired. In many cases these machines are a valuable adjunct to the larger machines. They take the shorter and lighter work to release the larger machines for their full capacity.
