1 assembly ready to bolt onto firewall bulkhead engine harness lassic U pdate Series front light The bulkhead from this front light kit slides into the bulkhead from the engine kit (bag ), the bulkhead from the rear body kit (bag M) then slides in behind the front light and snaps in place as shown. fter snapping together, then bolt the assembly into the dash harness firewall using the attached bolt. fter all wires are installed from this kit, the bulkhead s should have die-electric grease applied to the terminals and silicone sealer applied to the outside of the s as a moisture seal. merican utowire also sells factory OM style harness wrap. this is the same stuff used on original Truck harnesses! Insert into and connect with the disconnect on signal lamp extension. U R turn Route this wire to the R turn signal lamp extension, cut to length and install terminal. Insert into and connect with the disconnect on signal lamp extension. ROWN Parking ights Route this wire to the turn signal lamp extension, cut to length, double with the cut off portion of wire into terminal. Insert into and connect with the disconnect on signal lamp extension. Route the other end of the cut off portion to the R turn signal lamp extension, cut to length and install terminal. Insert into and connect with the disconnect on signal lamp extension. RONT IT WIRS T RN TN OTR WIRS TN eadlight I eam eadlight OW eam rake pressure VY TRU Route this wire to the headlight, cut to length, double with the cut off portion of wire into terminal. Insert into in the side cavity of the. Route the other end of the cut off portion over to the R headlight, cut to length and install terminal. Insert into the side cavity of on the R side. Route this wire to the headlight, cut to length, double with the cut off portion of wire into terminal. Insert into in the top cavity of the. Route the other end of the cut off portion over to the R headlight, cut to length and install terminal. Insert into the top cavity of on the R side. round Route the attached ring terminal to a good chassis ground and secure with an appropriately sized screw. There is also included a body to chassis ground wire with ring terminals on either end. ttach one end to the radiator support and the other end to the chassis. If you have a brake pressure and would like to connect it, route this wire to the switch which is commonly found on the proportioning valve, that can sometimes be found on the radiator support on earlier trucks. ut to length and slide boot over the wire and install terminal on applications. Slide the boot over the terminal and connect to switch. On applications install terminal anc and connect to switch. RN orn Route this wire to the horn and cut to length, if using more than one horn, double the cut off portion of wire into terminal and insert into. Route the other end of the cut off portion of wire to the other horn and cut to length, install terminal and insert into. ORN lectric fan If using an electric fan plug this wire into the bulkhead in the slot shown on the next page.
