1 P 1 of 4 Single Colour Installation Instructions IMPORTANT PLEASE READ BEFORE INSTALLATION Before commencing installation ensure the relevant mains supply has been safely isolated. Installation should be carried out in accordance with the latest relevant wiring regulations for the specific country/region. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician. Ensure all electrical connections are tight with no loose strands, including factory made connections. WARNINGS Mount the tape on a suitable heat sink material e.g. metal. Use only with the approved driver for this product. This luminaire is for indoor use only. This product can be damaged by electro magnetic discharge (ESD) We recommend using an ESD field kit during installation. LED driver must not be covered by ceiling insulation material; this will reduce the units operational lifetime, invalidate the warranty and may cause a risk of fire. This install manual covers the following products: DDLTST/xxx-x30-xxx DDLTST/xxx-x65-xxx Connecting Halcyon Fixtures Preparing mounting surface Mounting tape to surface V AC PSU HAL LED DC 24V HAL LED HAL = Halcyon Controller Make sure you clean the heat sink surface before mounting the product. The cleaning will provide a clean, dry mounting surface, free from silicone coatings, dust, oil and dirt particles. To mount the tape, peal back the adhesive backing and gently push the tape onto the mounting surface. Do not twist Minimum bend radius: 2cm If extra adhesion is required to mount the tape use an appropriate adhesive. Do not use Cyan Acrylates such as super glue. Ensure glue does not cover any of the top surface of the tape. Cut along black line Cutting Tape IMPORTANT Incorrect cutting and modification may invalidate the warranty. Always ensure light tape is disconnected from power before cutting. Minimum cut length 1.65m Keep controller away from metal Tape light should be mounted on suitable heat sink. The controller however must kept away from metal for good signal strength. Do not mount the control gear on metal surfaces.

3 Single Colour Installation Instructions Connectors & Extensions Single Colour When attaching sections of tape together, ensure the terminals are in the correct orientation with positive and negative power lines matching up. Incorrect wiring may void warranty and could cause damage to the product. Single Colour (1 Ch.) - Buckle Connector ① Single Colour (1 Ch.) - Extension Connector ① ② ② Ensure that the connection is secure and that the latches are fully fastened. ③ Repeat these steps for both ends of the connector if necessary. Maximum combined tape length =10m Maximum combined wire length = 10m when using 18AWG wire Connecting PSU to mains supply Wire PSU primary to ~230V mains supply. Screw down terminal cover to relieve cable strain where available
