4 WARNINGS WE RECOMMEND INSTALLATION BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.. Before starting the installation, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box.. To avoid the risk of fire, do not exceed the recommended wattage as indicated on the structure of the lamp.. Do not connect electricity until your lamp is fully assembled.. To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or personal injury, always turn off and unplug the lamp and allow it to cool prior to replacing light bulbs.. Do not touch bulbs when fixture is turned on or look directly at light bulbs.. Keep flammable materials away from light bulbs.. Due to the fixture size and weight, it may be necessary for more than one person to assist in the installation of this lamp.. Never use sharp tools, rings, or other objects when installing the lamp, as they may scratch it.. Use LED LIGHTS ONLY. No other light bulbs are supported by this lamp. 4

5 GENERAL: - Read all instructions and review diagrams beginning with the installation of the fixture. - All electrical connections must be in accordance with local codes, ordinances, or national codes. If you are unfamiliar with methods of electrical wiring, secure the services of a qualified licensed electrician. BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION: ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS - Turn off the electricity to the outlet box at the circuit breaker or fuse box. - If you are replacing an existing fixture, remove the old fixture and expose the supply wiring. - Remove the old cross bar. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS: a. Fix crossbar to the cealing with suitable screws. b. Connect the blu wire from the fixture to the blu wire of the supply circuit. c. Connect the brown wire from the fixture to the brown supply wire. Connect the ground wire - yellow/green - to the ground conductor of the supply circuit. Make sure that there are no loose strands of wire and that there are no loose connections. 5

6 INSTALLING THE FIXTURE Due to the fixture size, it may be necessary for more than one person to assist in the installation of this lamp. 1. Before starting the installation disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse at the fuse box. 2. Attach the cross bar A securely to the ceiling with the screws made for the specific material of the ceiling (wood /gypsum/ etc). A 3. Make the electrical connection between electrical cables coming from ceiling and structure B (don t pass cable inside of the threaded tube). B B 6

7 4. Insert the threaded tube into the hole of structure B, screw bolt and tighten securely. B 5. Connect electrical cables of structure B with electrical cables of C. B B C 7

8 6. Attach the cover C by means if the special screws D provided. Screw the light bulbs in the upper of the bulb holder structure (marked by the green line). C D 7. Lay the big disk over a flat clean surface with the larger circumference facing down. Insert element E (a). Tighten the three screws F (b) and make sure that structure E is safely fixed to the disk. E F 8.Insert the medium disk into element E. Tighten the three screws G and make sure that structure E is safely fixed to the disk. G G E G 8

9 9. Turn upside down the lamp and insert it into the ceiling structure. Make sure that E will perfectly fit into slot H. Lock the lamp to the ceiling structure by means of security screw I. E H F I 10. Insert and twist the twist lock light bulb at bottom of the bulb holder structure. Screw the rest of light bulbs in the bottom of the bulb holder structure. Restore the electricity and test functionality. twist lock lightbulb 9

10 11. Screw the small metal tip L onto smaller disk and make sure is safely fixed to the disk. L 12. Attach the smaller disk to the chandelier: Hook the small carabiner (see image) to the hole of one of the arms of the structure A. Place the smaller disk so that the magnets adhere to the diskette of the structure A. E 13. Hang the hook of the glass drop into the ring of the small metal tip L. L 10

11 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE The decoration is handmade. Never use sharp tools, rings, or other objects when installing or cleaning the lamp, as they may scratch it. Remove dust gently with soft brush only. This action should only be performed on the inner side of the lamp and not on the decorated surface. In order to handle the bulb holder structure, always remove the smaller disk and the twist lock light bulb at the bottom of the bulb holder structure first. ICARO 3 TIERS is made by highly skilled artisans with quality inspections made in all the phases of production. Every lamp, no matter how similar it may look to another, is completely unique. No two pieces are identical. The decoration is carefully checked. Marks are not to be considered defects, but rather features that make each lamp unique and authentic and proof of high quality craftsmanship. 11
