Attach intake minifold (), distributor cap (), distributor (9) and water pump () Note part locations () NOT ngine mounts and 0 must be glued in place aligned as shown. Cement fuel pump () into hole on rear of intake manifold. Note diagram showing location. Cement heads () in place. Attach engine mounts (/0) as shown.

5 9 0 IMORTANT NOT xhausts may be positioned to exit either under the car, or out the sides of the engine compartment. To exit downward, place parts (9/0) as shown. Assemble generator and mount (//), then attach assembly to engine. Cement belt and pulleys () to positions shown. ress fit exhausts (9/0) (do not glue) to engine block. xhausts should be glued in place after fitting the engine to chassis (tep 0). Note that exhausts may be positioned pointing downward under car, or positioned pointing out the sides of the engine compartment. To exit from the sides, exchange parts so (9) is placed on the left side, and part (0) is placed on the right side. Refer to tep 0. Cement coil () and shifter base () in place as shown. NOT: Underside of engine is shown. Cement starter motor () to oil pan. (/) () () () () Assemble the chassis by cementing all parts indicated to (), then cement () to other parts. Note diagram showing appropriate locating holes on parts (/).

Dry fit all parts to become familiar with assembly procedure. Also refer to tep 0 below. Attach rear suspension mount () to frame. Allow to dry thoroughly. Cement differential cover () to rear axle assembly. lace rear axle assembly in place, then glue shock absorbers (9) into position on axle and suspension mount.all parts should align as shown in diagram below. IMORTANT NOT It is recommended to use a slow-setting glue such as tube cement or epoxy for assembling the shock absorbers (9) to the driveshaft/axle assembly and part, as these parts should be assembled simultaneously for proper alignment. 7 LA NOT It is especially important to check the fit of the custom chromed parts in the following steps. Additional sanding may be necessary due to the extra thickness of the chrome finish. Carefully slide the shaft between the exhaust pipes, and glue steering box to frame. ress fit the steering link onto the shaft of part.

Glue name plates (/) and trim G() in place. Attach parts (/) as shown. Note that part () inserts into the hole on the top of the transmission housing. C C lide (do not glue) hinges C(/) onto door hinge pins. Tape door in closed position, then glue C(/) to body. Do not allow cement to touch hinge pins. Attach windshield I() to frame G(). Glue firewall (tep ) to body (A), then glue completed windshield in place. horten one end of hinge pins (x) to dimensions shown using wire cutter or pliers. Glue hinge pins into parts (/9) as shown. It is recommended to use epoxy glue for additional strength. When thoroughly dry, glue in place as shown. 12 Tape doors to body in closed position. Cement body to chassis, passing the steering linkage through hole in firewall and aligning the linkage with the small indentation under the dash. Do not allow glue to touch doors. Remove left (driver's) door. Cement steering wheel parts (//) as shown and cement to steering linkage. Glue part () to dash, positioning it around steering linkage. Replace door and tape in place. NOT: ome parts omitted for clarity. xcept as noted lide (DO NOT GLU) parts () onto hinge pins as shown. Be sure to align properly. 13 Glue door handles (9) to left and right doors. Carefully glue lenses I() to headlamp frame (0) and glue to attachment points on front fenders. You may optionally use license plate frame H(9) for the rear or use frame H(0) for a front-mounted license plate. Assemble taillights (//) as shown and glue to rear fenders. Attach parts () and () to hood, with the option of trim parts (/9). Attach optional visor C(9) to top of windshield frame. 14 Your Minicraft model includes high-quality waterslide decals. These decals adhere best to a glossy surface; and it is recommended that you apply a clear gloss coat over your painted model. Use a sharp scissors or knife to cut individual decals from the carrier sheet. Do not cut into the clear film surrounding the individual decals. * It is recommended that you apply one decal at a time. * lace the decal section in warm water, when first inserted in the water your decal will curl, after approximately ten seconds the decal will uncurl. Remove from water and lay on a paper towel. After approximately 0-0 seconds the decal will slide freely from the backing paper. Use a small brush to help slide the decal from the backing paper and into position on the model. Carefully blot excess water from the decal, using care not to move the decal or tear it. * If you choose to use a setting solution, apply a thin coat over the decal following the manufacturer s instruction. * Allow the decal to dry overnight. Wash any adhesive residue off the model with a small amount of clean water and dry thoroughly. * Apply clear gloss, matte or flat coat to seal decals following the instructions from the manufacturer.
