Thursday April 25 th 2019 after which time they will be publicly opened at the City of Kenora Council Chambers at One Main Street South, Kenora, Ontario. One complete set of minimum Specifications are attached. 2 CITY OF KENORA SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF A WHEEL LOADER GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE CONDITIONS FOR TENDERS 1. All prices must be clearly indicated, extended and totaled for the supply and delivery of a Wheel Loader will be used in evaluating the bid. 2. Tenders must not be restricted by a statement added to the tender. Conditional bids will not be accepted. 3. Adjustment to the tender by telephone, facsimile, telegram or telex will not be accepted. 4. In order to revise a bid, the bidder must withdraw or supersede his bid with a revised submission prior to the specified closing date and time. 5. Erasures, overwriting or strikeouts must be initialed by the person signing on behalf of the organization submitting the bid. 6. Tender submissions will constitute a Working Agreement and if successful will constitute an Agreement. 7. Prices are open for acceptance by the City of Kenora for sixty (60) calendar days from the tender closing date. 8. The lowest or any bid not necessarily accepted. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and formalities therein, and to award the tender bid in the best interest of the City of Kenora. 9. The tender name, closing date of the tender, bidder's name and address and the address of the City of Kenora must be clearly indicated on all tender envelopes submitted. 10. All tenders must be complete, legible and signed in ink by an authorized company official. Add details must be typed or written in ink and be submitted on the forms provided. If a lengthy description is necessary, separate sheet(s), with the tender name affixed, should be attached and these will be considered part of the tender. 11. Should a bidder find discrepancies or omissions from the document prior to the closing date, the City of Kenora is to be contacted as soon as possible in order that a written instruction or an addendum can be issued to each bidder. 12. Bidders do not need to include all applicable taxes (HST and Ontario Provincial Sales Tax). 13. All tenders submitted to the City of Kenora become the property of the City and as such are subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. 2

3 CITY OF KENORA SPECIFICATION AND CONFIRMATION ARTICULATED WHEELED LOADER, 4-WHEEL DRIVE, WITH INTEGRAL QUICK COUPLER SPECIFICATION: CONFIRMATION: 1. GENERAL CONITIONS: The loader shall be supplied with all standard equipment, male quick coupler, plus all other equipment required in this specification. A used loader will be offered as trade. The tendered machine will operate in the yard at the operation building loading all sorts of material also it will be used for unloading delivery trucks of supplies with existing forks it also has a handling arm that will be used to. The loader will be used for the removal of ice in both of are arenas. The tendered loader shall be supplied with the following: 2 yd (heaped) general purpose bucket with bolt on replacement Cutting edge c/w female quick coupler bucket mount. 1 (one) complete set of replacement cutting edge and bolts 1 Volvo Loader Quick Coupler Serial# Model#93642(note: this mount is required to fit our existing stock of attachments) 2 (two) complete sets of replacement filters. 1 (One) Craig Model 6975H 12 power angle snow blade with trip mould board and Edge, with quick coupler All components regarding the above equipment must be work ready upon delivery of the loader and suitable for winter and summer operations. If supplier can not provide proper quick coupler, they will provide and install 2 (two) blanks of tendered coupler, to be installed on the existing 2 attachments. 2 SPECIFY; MAKE: MODEL: YEAR: 3
