2 385B SKID STEER LOADER YANMAR ENGINE Unmatched performance driven by the world-class Yanmar 4TNV98CT Tier 4 Final engine, maximizing torque output with low fuel consumption and high reliability. DRIVE SYSTEM Closed-center hydraulic system for machine travel. Four wheel drive. Optional 2-speed is available. Hydraulic braking is standard. HYDRAULIC SYSTEM Pilot-controlled open-center hydraulic system for implement control. Two flows are available: standard at 79 L/min, and optional high-flow at 120 L/min for high-demand attachments. Third valve hydraulic lines for work tool attachments are standard. CONTROLS Highly responsive joysticks provide greater comfort for the operator. ISO control mode: left joystick controls travel and turn, right joystick controls boom and bucket. Third valve hydraulic control on left joystick. 2

4 385B SKID STEER LOADER A VERSATILE HYDRAULIC PLATFORM The new LiuGong 385B has much more to offer than simply a skid steer loader that meets Tier 4 Final emissions requirements. Using the strongest technologies, the new 385B offers a reliable, high-powered hydraulic platform for a wide range of work tools, allowing you to be far more productive. DRIVE SYSTEM The 385B utilizes a closed-center hydraulic system and heavy duty drive chains for four wheel drive. Optional two-speed is available. HYDRAULIC SYSTEM An open-center hydraulic system with pilot control operates the work implement system. Standard flow is 79 L/min: optional high-flow of 120 L/min is available for demanding work tool applications. Third valve hydraulic lines are standard. An optional self-leveling valve is available which provides parallel lift capability. WORLD-CLASS YANMAR ENGINE The new 385B comes equipped with a fuel efficient, world-class Yanmar 4TNV98CT Tier 4 Final engine that maximizes torque output and throttle response. The 385B utilizes Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) technology to attain emissions requirements. Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is not required on the 385B. 4

6 385B SKID STEER LOADER AN OPERATOR-FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT DESIGNED FOR WORK Ergonomically designed controls and a comfortable cab contribute to overall productivity on the jobsite. COMFORTABLE ENVIRONMENT Cab design maximizes the space available in the cabin for the operator. The KAB suspension seat provides the operator the benefits of maximum comfort and less fatigue. Sliding windows on both left and right sides of the cab provide ample fresh air. The sun visor can be pulled across the roof window. EASE OF OPERATION Joysticks are ISO control mode: left joystick controls travel and turn, right joystick controls boom and bucket. Conveniently located right-side hand throttle provides power control. INSTRUMENT PANEL The electronic instrument panel displays all required information about the machine including hydraulic oil temperature, hydraulic pressure, service interval alerts and many other outputs. 6

7 SAFETY WITHOUT COMPROMISE The 385B cab is ROPS and FOPS certified. Slip resistant tread plates provide a safe access environment for the operator and service person. ROPS/FOPS CAB Rollover Protection System on the cab (ROPS) is standard to ensure operator protection in the unlikely event of the machine rolling over. Falling Object Protection System (FOPS) is standard to guarantee extra peace of mind. INTERLOCKS The armrest is a safety interlock which prevents engine start unless fully down. In addition, the implement lock switch must be manually unlocked by the operator after engine start. HYDRAULIC BRAKING The travel motors will automatically lock if the engine flames out. COLOR CODED FILL CAPS The diesel fuel and hydraulic oil fill caps are different colors to help prevent the filling of the wrong fluid into each tank. High-intensity LED light clusters, both front and rear, are standard on the 385B. 7

ACCESSIBILITY The rear grill and radiator swing out over 60 degrees for easy access and cleaning. The cab swings up over 80 degrees to allow complete access to the machine systems and the replacement of the hydraulic and engine oil filters. The engine air filter is easily accessible from the rear, while the cab air filter and fuel-water separator are readily accessible on the left side of the machine. 9
